Comments about Castelli Mortirolo Due Bike Jacket - Men's:
I bought this at end Dec for use in training through the winter. Weather and rain have prevented me from using my bike much but, when I have used it, I use this jacket. I've had about 4 long rides in this and have formed enough of an opinion. This is a nice riding jacket! It seems to suck me in and make me feel like I've lost 30lbs which is nice when you are trying to stay in shape. Looks nice and sharp. As function goes, there are no front pockets or internal pockets to keep a map or small keys. You'll have to keep those in the back which can be a pain if you are trying to reach deep for your phone or whatnot. If you ride a med jersey wear a med coat. If you have two layers on underneith this may be too tight. I wear just a jersey under and it fits snug as it should. The only gripe I have is that the sleaves sort of bunch up with the front of the jacket when fully extended low on the bars. Some of this can be remedied by pulling the jacket down a little every so often. Something I commonly do from time to time. I bike in New England and 40deg along the shore line is cold and it feels like 30deg so this is nice for the mid forties. I am used to the colder temp but, anything below the mid forties might feel cold to some especialy around the back of the shoulders where the low pressure builds up while riding. After reading reviews from other sites apparently these jackets used to be made in Italy and some of the changes were disliked by regular users. I like my jacket and it would be nice if I could expect the quality from the country that designs the stuff...especially if one pays the money I did. This Jacket is made in Macau so don't expect the made in Italy label. Still a nice jacket. Would recommend.
Feels true to size
Feels too long
