    The REI Member Dividend

The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.

Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.

Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

by fromI change my opinion... DON'T BUY THIS!!! I'm back with another review because the Salomon Guardians broke and I'm now looking for a new binding. (To note REI gave me a full refund and mentioned I was the 3rd of 4th person who had this problem.) I skied these bindings all last year in bounds and they were great. They broke on my first day of touring! I had just finished skinning up and was clipping in for some downhill. There was a minimal amount of snow under the pivot point of the binding where the toe connects so I thought nothing of it and pushed down to clip in. The binding sheared straight off...done! Luckily I was able to ski down on my good ski and wasn't far from my car but the story could have been worst if I was out for an all day/overnight trip! I looked at the binding afterwards and there was no metal connections at the hinge point, just plastic. So if you're looking for an AT binding that does great inbounds but keeps you sweating bullets every time your in the back country this is your binding. Otherwise I would look elsewhere. Cheers

by fromThe Ultimate Binding! This Binding is great! I haven't had a chance to tour yet but as an ex-racer and ski instructor this binding is versatile and very competitive on the slopes! What put this AT binding ahead of all the rest was it's low profile, similar to an alpine configuration, and an efficient set up for touring. I really like how I don't have to detatch from the binding to switch between alpine and touring mode, like most other models. I wanted a binding that I would be able to tour in as well as hold its own on the bumps, trees, shoots and on those days of simply ripping down some groomers....THIS IS IT!!!
