REI Members get back an estimated $ 3.30 on this item as part of their annual member refund.

    The REI Member Dividend

The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.

Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.

Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Princeton Tec Quad Headlampis rated3.75out of5by4.
Rated5out of5byfromExcellent HeadlampThis was one of my first purchases over four years ago when I became an Assistant Scoutmaster. The lamp is very easy to use and is very bright, although not as bright as others on the market. The battery life is long, in fact much longer than another brighter headlamp I use, and it's been dropped quite a few times but keeps on working. This is a wonderful product.

Rated5out of5byfromFantasticI love this headlamp. I work in the wine industry and I probably use it daily for sampling barrels. I've had it for almost six months now and it's still going strong. It's super bright at first, but eventually as the batteries get used up it does get a little dim. One feature that is useless is the low battery light...I've never seen it indicate low batteries. Highly recommend it.

Rated4out of5byfromBright, good light spread, reliableI can't remember when I bought this, but was at least 5 years ago. The headband is different, but the rest is the same. Well, after at least 3 dozen car camping trips, several backpacks, and even 3 caving adventures, my quad headlamp has help up very well. Dropped it in a creek. No problem. Dropped it in a cow patty. No problem. Fell into a campfire. No problem. Many of my friends have bought newer and more expensive headlamps, and my quad headlamp performs, and sometimes out performs, them all. This headlamp provides a bright and well focused beam of light. Too many headlamps I've seen have uneven light patterns. And some seem bright around the campfire, but when you are out on your own, the beams just don't light your path well. This Princeton Tec does both. And this is important… the elastic headband is still flexible and resilient. My last [other brand] headlamp, the elastic when south and started to loose is elasticity after a few years. Ok, I guess having a red light mode would be nice. But that's the only con I can come up with.
