Rated5out of5byNM Hiker ChicafromPleasant surprise.I wanted a comfortable lightweight boot. During the last couple of years, I switched from women's boots to men's boots due to better comfort and durability. I am surprised by these boots toughness . I have ripped out lugs on way more expensive boots after a few hikes. The soles on these boots look unused even though I have traveled on rough terrain. Overall, the boots are a great bargain that so far have been durable and comfortable.

Rated5out of5byyazzerfrom"Happy Feet"I am a converted all leather, norwegian welt kind of guy. I bought these for my wife and was so impressed, I bought myself a pair. I wore them around the neighborhood a few times, and then on a weekend backpack. They performed flawlessly... Light, comfortable, dry. Perfect for all my 3 season backpacking. Your feet will thank you if you buy these.I can't comment on durability or winter use for hiking, but I have used them for snow shovelling and they are pretty warm and dry.

Rated4out of5byBeardedBandanafromAwesome BootThese boots rule! I researched and shopped around for these bad boys for a solid 4 months before one day, I hopped onto REI and found them at almost 80% off of the normal price. STEAL!
Im a big guy, 6'3" 290. I bought the size 13. As with all of my shoes, they run a little narrow but these fit me just fine, and they are holding up great. They are warm with a pair of Smartwools and absolutely waterproof GTX unless you go sock deep and the water gets in the top. and even then they dry out rather quickly by the fire. Over all solid support, my ankles feel great and there is really good mobility in the toe. the grip is awesome as well. I wouldn't pay full price for these as I feel I could upgrade to a better pair at that range, but if you see these on sale be sure to snag them!

Rated4out of5byGrahamcrakerfromGreat boot for the $$I got these before I went to Maine. Used them to hike Cadillac Mtn, and two other local hikes. Nothing too tech. One day a little wet. These boots performed Great! No Break In. Comfy, light, and warm. These were all with only CamelBack packs. I have my Lowa Banff Pro's for heavy pack treks. Couldn't ask for much more.

Rated5out of5byPatrick the HikerfromExcellent! These boots were great! I broke them in on a 10 mile day hike. Even though the varioius terrains, they didn't let me down. I've walked in a few small streams just to test how waterproof they actually are- I stayed dry.
Overall, it is a great boot. The plastic lace loop will break eventually. There is no doubt about that. I'm likely just going to break it now and insert a small metal ring in it's place.
