Suunto Core Crush Multifunction Watch is rated 3.75 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from neat watch Neat outdoors watch. With a properly set contrast the two inch display is easy to read and shows lots of information. The altimiter, barometer, and compass need to be set frequently to insure "accuracy" and temperature is effected by body heat. Sunrise/set times are close enough. I would not soley rely on any of the readings except time. The stop watch and count down features work well and the storm alarm does react well to sudden drops in pressure. The size may look awkward on smaller wrists. The watch has some cool features and for the price (on sale) I plan on keeping it.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from disappointing Easy-to-use menu system. Really wanted to like this watch but: contrast is poor making it difficult to read in bright light or dim light. You can adjust the contrast somewhat making it easier to read in bright light but it was always difficult to read in dim light. Plus, adjusting the contrast is a convoluted process. The Suunto with the white face is MUCH easier to read. The automatic alti-baro mode is flakey. Just sitting on my desk it kept toggling between alti and baro mode. Suunto really should have separate modes to view altimeter and barometer data. It is not easily adaptable to a neck lanyard. This is my preferred method of carrying altimeters. Plus replacement watch bands cost alot. This is going back to REI.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from every day watch very simple set up, directions almost too simple - i thought something was missing but it is very intuitive. I swapped the bands and am very happy. visibility was tricky but its a contrast view so the position of the watch face is critical to a good view and that took some getting used to. i have the black face and its very discrete to anyone but me. Lite works great in the AM when the alarm goes off and i hit the snooze and need to see how long i have been oversleeping. button lock out is also great since hitting the buttons is easy to do and when you least expect it you are using the compass feature. Very happy with it so far.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pretty Cool Watch This is a pretty great watch all in all. I don't have too many complaints about it. I did have a fancy pants watch but I don't like the image it projects, plus I have no Idea when I would use a tachymeter. I don't go to the Bonneville Salt Flats. Anyways back to this watch. Its great all the features it has. It was unusual to get used to how light it is compared to my metal watch. It took a week or so to get used to it. The strap seems flimsy but really isn't. Ive put some stress on it and it still looks brand new. Few nicks on the bezel but nothing passed that. Great features like the compass! That along with a map literally got me back to my buddy's cabin in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. I literally tracked my way back in pitch black in January in the backwoods on a four wheeler. I would highly recommend for people to not use this as their only instrumentation. Though it helped I would say it is not the most relatable and accurate. But at least the bezel turns and you can keep your heading. One complaint is the thermometer. Though it makes sense that the temp is high because it is on my skin, its annoying at how long it takes for it to change if I put it on my nightstand to see the temp in my room. If you're looking to get an outside reading its important to place the watch on your outermost layer of clothing away from body temperature to avoid conflict in reading. Another frustrating thing for me personally is change between the altimeter and barometer but if you read the instructions on the Suunto website you should be fine. Just have to get barometric pressure in mmHG before you leave and have accurate topographic material before you set off on your adventure. I would definitely recommend this watch. I got it during their spring sale with the percentage off and my dividends. Im not sure I would quite spend the full retail amount for it though. But I still think this is the best in the league for the money.
