The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about Bison Designs T-Lock Belt:
I am surprised that the earlier reviewer of this product had problems. My experience was the opposite. Mine has been absolutely reliable and I have given it almost daily wear for about 7 years. It still even looks brand new. The buckle is plastic and I would not have expected it to last this long, but it has been a champ.
Better still, it can be adjusted in small increments to any size, it holds the set size absolutely with no slip, and is very easy to open and close. The fact that it is nylon means that it is great around water or for sweaty activities. If you are backpacking and using a suspension hip belt, you will definitely want a flat, low-profile belt like this to wear under the hip belt for comfort.
I originally bought it to replace the cheap and nearly useless web belt that comes with the Columbia Silver Ridge shorts (also the REI Sahara shorts). It has been perfect for that. However, it has proven so comfortable and practical that it has become my go-to belt for all of my casual clothing.
The only wish I have is that it were just a little wider. It is perfect for lightweight shorts, but could stand to look a bit wider for heavier long pants. I noticed that Bison Designs also manufactures it in a 38mm width (this one is 30mm), which would be nice for those uses. However, I am still very happy with this one for all of my casual wear needs.

Comments about Bison Designs T-Lock Belt:
The webbing is very stiff, which is nice. The small tabs which allow the T-lock buckle/cam to rotate have broken while in use. These pivots are very small and easily break. REI allowed an exchange the first time and Bison replaced the buckle for $2 plus I was out the shipping to them. I'll probably have this one fixed again, but this should not happen. I really hate poor design.
