REI Members get back an estimated 10% on this item as part of their annual member refund.

    The REI Member Dividend

The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.

Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.

Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

    Bison Designs T-Lock Money Beltis rated2.6out of5by5.
Rated2out of5byfromGreat item but low qualityI am an ultra light traveler. I like to get through TSA screening fast. That means I needed a non-metal belt buckle and place to store extra cash is nice. While this belt fits the bill it is very cheaply made. The buckle is very flimsy and the zipper is cheap. The zipper has a metal slider which defeats the whole purpose. I would prefer hook and loop instead. The belt itself is a nice heavy weight nylon webbing. I have the medium belt and can fit four bills folded in thirds length wise end to end. You may be able to double up and get 8 bills in there but not much more.

Rated5out of5byfromAwesomeI was just about to buy another one of these and was surprised by the reviews. My partner and I have used these backpacking through both Mexico and Southeast Asia and found it to be perfect. It holds a ton of money, looks like a normal belt, and has never worn out. That said, we take good care of it and use it every moment during backpacking trips but don't use it as a daily belt while at home. I was just about to buy another for a friend about to leave for a trip so, yeah, I'd say we recommend it pretty highly.

Rated2out of5byfromGreat look, didn't last my first hikeStopped in at REI Boulder on the way for a hike in RMNP. Absent a belt for my hike I picked this up on sale and liked the style and the fact it was infinitely adjustable. After two days of hiking, one of the heavy duty nylon clasps broke and rendered it useless - thank goodness for extra parachute cord! Perhaps used in more casual wear it would be fine but it did not hold up under normal hiking.

Rated1out of5byfromBison Design T lock Money BeltZipper broke the first time we tried to close it. Area for money not wide enough to accomodate extra money. Belt needs to be 1/4-1/8 inch wider with ample space to place money. It would be good if the manufacturers would try using these products before they distrubute to the public.
