Comments about REI Thermo Mittens:
Kept my hands warm on many runs. Ran with a friend who was wearing two pair of gloves. Her hands were so cold I had to open her car door at the end of our run. My hands were toasty warm.

Comments about REI Thermo Mittens:
These are my every day mittens in the winter. I commute by bus, and I can spend long stretches outside in all kinds of Minnesota winter weather. I like that these guard against wind very well, and the fleece is quite repellent. What I really like, though is that they have very little bulk for the level of warmth.
The grips are not uber-durable, so these would not be intended for a tow-rope or other intense gripping, but I found that I preferred them over my leather-grip ski mittens for sledding and skiing this winter.
They come in a wide range of sizes, so finding a good fit is pretty easy, although thumbs are ALWAYS too big for me on gloves and mittens.

Comments about REI Thermo Mittens:
These mittens helped me tremendously this winter. I found that no matter how beefed up my gloves were they just didn't prevent my fingers from freezing. These mittens really made a difference for me. My fingers didn't get nearly as cold and hence no more painful fingers when walking the dogs. They are a little bit less clumsy than I thought since the fabric is soft. It also feels to be two layers thick.

Comments about REI Thermo Mittens:
They keep my hands really warm, and the dogs love to chew on them, too. I'm not sure if that's a pro or a con.

Finally, these olde fingers (fast chasing 71) are warm, comfortable, and working well. Cold was beginning to take the usefulness away. But this product has got me going again...thankfully!

Comments about REI Thermo Mittens:
Got these for my wife, hence the mitten for kitten comment. She likes mitts better than gloves and really likes the windproofing. Uses them walking, running, and skiing. As I just got them this winter, I am sure she will use them on windy cold days in spring and fall as well as on hiking trips in the mountains when it gets cold. They are not water proof but best to put a shell over them in those conditions. Work great for her!!

They are my new go to gloves. I wear them daily.
They are really WARM. I bought them as a gift for myself, and I am so glad I did.
