Comments about Columbia Lhotse Mountain Interchange 3-in-1 Insulated Jacket - Men's:
Only worn 3 times so could not comment on a lot of the suggested pros or cons. Tight fit under the arms my only real concern at this time; but allowed me to shed two layers worn with my previous shell jacket when skiing. Love all the available pockets for storing stuff.

Used this on a winter campout near Ely, MN. Worked great, warm yet not bulky.

Comments about Columbia Lhotse Mountain Interchange 3-in-1 Insulated Jacket - Men's:
I lent my jacket to a family member and it was lost. I'm so glad it was, because I ended up buying this jacket. First off, I want to make it clear that when you buy this jacket, you really get TWO jackets for the price of one so it's totally worth the price. The inner layer is very soft and warm. When I'm playing rough in the snow I like to have the outer layer linked as well; but, when I'm just out and about, I actually like wearing the inner jacket. It's lined completely with the OMNI-HEAT layer which DOES work. I was going to select another brand because of the foil-looking OMNI Heat layer. I thought it may be a marketing ploy only, but once I wore it, I was sold. It worked so well I ended up buying separate OMNI HEAT base layers! For being so light, this soft inner shell/jacket is what I wear the most in and out of the house during cold days. Now, once you zip this layer into the outer layer you get the ultimate protection from the cold. It's very light and you can move around without restrictions. The outer layer is more rugged so if you end up falling in snow or swiping equipment, it's more durable. Yet, it's not stiff or bulky so you can feel in control without the weight as well. About the only thing that may be uncomfortable for someone may be the positioning of the pockets, but I didn't find it too annoying when I needed to use it.

My husband absolutely LOVES this jacket! He didn't want to part with his "dress" jacket, but once he wore this one on a hike, he was convinced. I'm slowly turning him into an outdoorsman!!!
