Comments about Brooks L. S. D. Lite Jacket III - Women's:
The good:
It packs down small and is very light and easy to carry (I've tucked it in my race vest and carried it in my hand). It fits well and the sleeves are long enough to tuck my hands into.
The bad:
Its not designed for moderate or heavy rain, probably a drizzle or light rain at the most. To be fair, we don't really get light rain in SLC, its either hot and dry or a downpour, so I haven't been able to test it in proper conditions. However, even when it's soaked through it has kept me decently warm (i.e. 41 degrees with rain and wind for a 2 hour run). It did better with the rain than the wind though, that got pretty chilly.
I'm not checking a box below because I would only recommend it to a friend if they lived in a good climate for it (San Fransisco or some other foggy place). Its really cute and comfortable though.

Comments about Brooks L. S. D. Lite Jacket III - Women's:
I use this very light weight, comfortable jacket for a layering piece to resist wind, cold or light rain. The light weight fabric will work as the weather warms up. I have the white and pink jacket. It is not only stylish, it is also visible when running in the dark. This jacket is not meant to be worn in heavy rain or would not be good to keep extreme cold out. When the temps get low, I like to stay warm without the bulk. I have used it for sub-40 temps and up. I am 5'6" 115 lbs and run every day if I can.
