Rated5out of5byBlue rocketfromRei down jacketBought the Patagonia and it snagged all over the place that turned into holes! I was very disappointed. Bought this jacket and it has held up to the wear of my 5yr old son. Would buy this over in heart beat.

Rated4out of5byFaith the ConquerorfromMy new favorite jacket! So I am not a boy. I'm a 21yr old woman who likes to save money by fitting into children's clothes. I'm moving to Minnesota soon (hint: cold) and decided that I needed a down jacket, although I had been wanting one for a while anyways. I tried on many boys and girls down jackets and this was one of the few that had a long enough arm length. I like the sleeves of all my jackets to at least stretch to cover my hands, I hate it when they linger around my wrists. This jacket is very warm, very comfy, and will pack down super tiny if I decide to take it with me on a camping/backpacking trip. The pockets are big and warm for cold hands and I love the extra chest pocket for sticking my phone in.
The only things I would improve would be the collar and the bottom which is a bit loose and can let a little bit of a draft in although it's not a big deal. The collar isn't high enough to protect your neck from the cold, but I usually wear a scarf anyways.

Rated4out of5byKate MamafromWarm, but stainsWe purchased this jacket several years ago, but lost it. We liked it enough to buy it again, and I think it's warmer and puffier - at least it seems to be an improvement. Beware though, it stains and is nearly impossible to get the stains out. I was able to get dirt off of my white down coat when I couldn't get dirt out of this jacket, so just FYI. However, it's long enough, warm enough, and comfortable enough for a kid in Wisconsin winter. Great coat.
