Rated5out of5byfromLove this coat!I bought this coat because I was looking for a more stylish trench-coat-ish jacket. Most of my other jackets were snowboarding jackets, and too casual for wearing with formal work clothes. But since I'm pretty outdoorsy I was looking for something that was waterproof and utilitarian. I ordered it online without trying it on, and it ended up being perfect! Its a little snug in the chest, but I am bigger there anyway. The hood is annoying if you don't have a beanie or hat because it falls down over your eyes. But this is pretty much the only thing I don't like about it so I dont' mind. Its also not super warm. We've had some cold weather this year and it wasn't sufficient, but its only a shell so that's to be expected.

Rated5out of5byfromGreat for fall and winter weatherI bought this coat thinking I would wear it in wet spring/fall weather. Today it was raining after snowing, sleeting, and icing all day yesterday, and I needed to walk the dog, then brush off my car and head in to work. I threw this on over a sweater thinking it would be okay for the walk and I was so warm and comfortable and dry in it, I figured I'd wear it to clean off the car and commute too. Well, I couldn't find a brush or broom to clear off the slush from my car, so I used my arms - they didn't even get wet or cold! Sheets of melting ice came brushed right off of my car and I wasn't inconvenienced one bit. This is the coat that can do it all.

Rated4out of5byfromGreat coat - except the hoodThe fit was great on this coat and the styling doesn't shout "Goretex" like most jackets in this category. The only thing I didn't like was the poor fit of the hood. Somehow the shaping just made it look really dorky and I didn't feel like it was shaped right to give you protection + a view out. The adjustments didn't help enough. Be warned that the fabric is pretty heavy - not like a typical rain jacket. If it hadn't been for the hood I would definitely have kept this one.

Rated5out of5byfromOutstanding CoatThis jacket/coat stood up to sideways rain and 60 mph winds. It was very comfortable to wear and very stylish. Great to wear in cool dry weather and great for extremely wet and/or windy conditions.

Rated4out of5byfromGreat versatile coatI bought this coat to be my spring/fall rain coat to work so I wanted it to function like true outdoors wear but look stylish. It's almost perfect! Looks great and definitely handles the elements. The sleeves are long which is very unusual for me. The only other 'con' is that I wish there was a way to adjust the hood from the top to keep it open around my face but out of my eyes, if that makes sense. Some coats I have had have a piece of velcro at the crown that you can use for that. Overall I love the coat though.

Rated4out of5byfromGood commuting jacketI bought this coat for commuting in Seattle, and I've been very pleased with it so far. The hood is large and adjustable, so you can really cinch it down in the wind or loosen it up to wear a hat under. The waist has an internal adjustment so again, you can choose how tight or loose you want it. By itself, a good fall and spring jacket. It's winter and I'm currently wearing it with a liner for added warmth. Very waterproof. The only downsides are that the sleeves are not adjustable at the wrists and have a fairly wide opening, so cold air can go up the arm holes. Also the neck is quite stiff, but has started to loosen up as I wear it more. Overall very happy with this jacket for Seattle bus commuting.
