  • Single piece of fabric, which incorporates the sleeves and shoulders, zips off and instantly turns the jacket into a vest

    Great jacket for the trails. Zip-off arms and cape are perfect for dealing with cold mornings turning into warm days. Vest arm openings are a little tight, but it just takes a little adjusting when you start out. Back pocket for the arms is also perfect for maps, compass, or other trail necessities. It's a bit heavier than some other trail jackets, but the vest is also much more substantial for both colder weather and trail hazards.

      This jacket is great for cold and windy weather. It's quite convenient for changing weather to. You can easily stow away your extra layers, hat and gloves into its oversize back compartment. I ran in it while temperatures were from single digits to 40 and the jacket served well and kept my core warm and protected.

        Living in California I was looking for a jacket / windbreaker that would fend off the early morning cold but would not burn me up once the temperatures warmed up. This product fit the bill perfectly. Well fitted it did not dance arround my body when running. The sleeves have thumb holes so I did not need to carry gloves. The sleves zip off easly and are not an afterthrought. Once the sleves are off there is a convenient pocket on the back of the vest for them as well as special smaller pockets for keys and other devices. There is a convenient button at the chest that allows you to run while the jacket is unzipped which is perfect for ventalation without the jacket puffing up with wind or air. Great product!!
