        My daughter wears the SmartWool midweight bottoms every day in college in MN. She has several pairs of these. This was a re-order. She must be comfortable in them to wear them every day & she says they keep her nice & warm. She is from the South and not used to the cold -- so for her to say that is HUGE! She is making it thru her 3rd Winter wearing these SmartWool midweight bottoms.

          I used these under insulated ski pants for extra warmth. My legs were never cold despite single digit temps at 15,000 feet. I also wore them a couple nights for pajamas and under jeans at night. Very comfortable, loved the purple color. After a couple wears they stretch out but they retain shape after washing. These are a keeper!
