        I got this as a 2nd base layer to wear under a jacket or alone. I loved it because it wasn't too thick. I have Smartwool socks and love them so I thought this would work but it was too itchy for me after about 10 minutes I had to take it off and reluctantly return it. Too itchy!!

        I have this top in last year's and the previous year's colors and LOVE them. Both older tops fit much better than the new one though. This year the sleeves and torso are much longer (my arms haven't grown), but the shoulders are tight in the armpits. The new fit is best for women who don't have shoulder muscles. If you have muscles, look for a used top from last year. I love most of my Smartwool clothing and will keep this top, unless the armpit digging drives me too crazy.

          I've had this top and bottoms for a good long time - 5 yrs or so. Expensive, but worth the price due to quality and durability. Keeps you super warm, but also breaths well and wicks the moisture. I wear this underneath when I'm snowboarding, and it's great at keeping me warm and wicking away sweat! I also wear this at high altitudes when I need the extra layer for warmth. It's starting to get some holes, and I'm sad I have to get another top and bottom, because of the steep price, but I just think, another pair will last me just as long. Love this brand!

          I own my own gym and keep it cool in the winter. My customers love it, but I usually freeze! Now that I've discovered SmartWool, I will stay warm all winter long! I have this top in black, purple, and teal and was lucky enough to buy them all on sale.
