This is a great cooking set for me and my wife. We played around with the handle a bit in non-cooking situations so we knew what we were dealing with once things got cooking (HA!). I do wish that it came with more than one handle though as I often use 2 burners to cook.
The mugs and bowls work great for whatever you use them for. I made the mistake of using one of the plates as the grease catcher when i made bacon on a griddle one morning. Bad idea - the plate partially melted from where it came in contact with the griddle. MY FAULT. Plate looks funky but still works.
The wash basin is nice, but i will probably buy a bigger one for camping this year as we usually camp in a group of at least 4 and have a lot to wash.
I also like the color coding so people know which plate/cup/bowl is theirs.

We used this set for the first time for car camping. There were some things we loved and some thing that underwhelmed us.

We loved the compact shape and its ability to hold everything. The mugs are great. They kept the coffee hot. There are two parts to the cup- the main part of the cup with the foam sleeve and then an outer cup that goes over top of it. We found the outer cup is great to hold chopped veggies while cooking. And you still have a mug to drink out of!

My husband had a hard time with the handle for the pots. He almost dropped the pot a couple of times because the handle was wobbly. Also, we used the frying pan on our whisper lite stove and it "buckled" in the middle, so our eggs ran off to one side.

We will continue to use this set because of it's weight and ability to hold everything.

I already owned a cooking set, with pans that are about the same size, but if I want to take that set with me, I need about the same space for plates, mugs, etc. With this set it's already in there, everything fits very clever into each other. The shaping of the mugs is a bit odd, but it works like a charm for me. Also very nice that it comes with a frying pan that works - cannot say that about every cooking set! Since I only used it for a few weeks now, I cannot really say anything about the durability, but it feels sturdy enough. We used the cooking set outside the cabins that we rented on (KOA) campings, on a one stove burner. Took it back in our suitcase in the plane and will definitely use it next time we go camping in the US.

My husband and I bought this set to make our lives a little easier when we pack to go camping/bike riding. We camp and ride about one weekend a month, more often in the summer, and needed a set that would fit in our grab-and-go box and not take up a ton of space. This one is great because it has everything you might need to cook a real meal AND all the pieces needed to feed everybody as well. The non-stick surface has held up well so far and the insulated coffee mugs have been a god-send on cold mornings. The only complaint I have is that the 'strainers' fit like lids and seem like they should hold up as such when cooking, however, we discovered that they WILL MELT if left on the pot while cooking. Fortunately we were able to remold its shape while it was still soft, but I was a little dissapointed that part wasn't more sturdy. We've been using the pan as a "lid" since then when needed. Other than that, we've been happy with the set so far and look forward to many years of use with it.
