Comments about GSI Outdoors Pinnacle Dualist Ultralight Cookset:
Here is my breakdown:
1. Awesome set. You get a lot of bang for your buck. My MSR pocket stove fits great inside of it as well as a small canister of fuel!
2. Ditch the sporky foony whatever things. True, they are small and compact but they break easily and are too small to ever make it seem like you are getting a full bite. I eat things that can be eaten with a spoon so I just toss in a normal disposable spoon in my pack.
3. The mugs have an odd design. The sippy hole is very small so in order to drink you have to tilt the mug a lot to really get the liguid to come out. This is fine but the lid does not fit securely so the liquid then leaks around the permieter of the seal. Annoying.
Other than that...love this thing a lot. I will continue to use it an enjoy it.

Comments about GSI Outdoors Pinnacle Dualist Ultralight Cookset:
Overall, a very good product and I would highly recommend GSI for their customer service. The product is compact and works well. One start deducted because you must be careful with the silverware pieces--they can break if you don't handle them delicately. I think that's probably the tradeoff for pieces that fit within the set. However, when this happened, they replaced them with no questions asked. Very pleasant to do business with.

Comments about GSI Outdoors Pinnacle Dualist Ultralight Cookset:
Took this on our first legit backpacking trip (5 miles in to campsite) and it worked excellently. We had previously purchased a cheap set that was much larger and was uncomfortable to use. This had none of those problems. The only minor complaint I have is using the sink to clean everything: it works, but it's small and the items in the set just fit enough to clean them.

First, do yourself a favor get new utensil the spork doesn't work.
I really like the compact design, works really well. I like that the handle is attached to the pot. I don't have to have an extra piece to carry or loose.

Comments about GSI Outdoors Pinnacle Dualist Ultralight Cookset:
This is a great cook set. The nesting system is clever and will keep your overall gear volume way down (especially when you keep your fuel canister and burner inside it). It is nice not to have to find separate cups and bowls that fit. I use it with my Pocket Rocket and it is stable and heats up fast. The sporks are kinda fail so I use my own.
The only drawback for some may be its squat shape. For minimalists with tiny packs, it may be easier to go with something like a Jetboil as it is easy to squeeze into places with its thin profile. This cook set is a bit short and round so may cause problems. That being said, it is perfect for my set up.

Comments about GSI Outdoors Pinnacle Dualist Ultralight Cookset:
Excellent and compact solution to providing a decent capacity pot, plus a "mug" and food bowl for two people. By stacking everything as the diagram on the pot shows, you can fit a fuel cannister and small stove inside, but I prefer a solo stove and alcohol burner instead for the flexibility of wood as a backup and renewable fuel. Either way, you have a lot of flexibility for packing.
The welded sack is a tight squeeze, but a nice addition to the set for those who like to wash up a little more when water is more easliy available.
The one shortcoming is the utensils. They are really rather flimsy, and short in length in order to fit in the kit. Do yourself a favor and get some better utensils.

Comments about GSI Outdoors Pinnacle Dualist Ultralight Cookset:
After using many cooksets, this is my fav. I love the nesting feature; holds my SnowPeak stove and a fuel canister inside, so very compact. I no longer use insulated cups, as the nested bowls serve perfectly for hot tea or chocolate. Pot cleans easily with little sticking. Great strainer in lid; very handy. Be sure to pull out the bottom cup; my son cooked his one night in the pot! Own 4 sets, all are great (except one has a melted bowl!).

I really like using my cook set. very light and big enough for my food cooking and heating. it has space for my fuel. the bowl outside lining... gunius.
the only gripe... the spoork (FOONS). it keeps on breaking.

I had bought their microdualist set and just replaced that with this set after using my friend's set. This size is perfect for cooking a hearty meal for two people. The set is well-thought out, although I do like the transparent lids they had on my old set. I don't know if that is a difference betyween the two sets or a feature they took out.

Works great with any backpacking stove. I really appreciate the nesting diagram that is stenciled onto the side of the pot.
