The Katadyn MyBottle water filter is the simple solution for making water potable when traveling, kayaking or setting out on a backpacking trip.

Simply fill the MyBottle from a tap or a lake, screw the cap on and start sipping; inner microfilter eliminates bacteria and protozoa
Uses a carbon filter and a glass fiber cyst cartridge to physically remove particles, protozoa and bacteria down to 0.3 microns in size, including giardia and cryptosporidia
Carbon pre- and post-filter improves the taste of stale, swampy water
Bottle filters up to 26 gal. (100 liters) of water before it is necessary to replace the filter cartridge; replacement filter cartridges are sold separately

Comments about Katadyn MyBottle Water Filter:

I took this on a 15-20 mile cross country trek expecting to be able to use it to fill up from the near constant lakefront. As a result, i didn't bring along any already filtered water. When i stopped to drink, i could only get a little dribble of water to come out. I spent five solid minutes sucking out those precious drops of water, and by the end, i was exhausted and the bottle was still 2/3 full. I thought maybe mine was just mal-functional and contacted customer support to try and diagnose the problem. They treated me like an idiot and then stopped responding.

This product should only be used as a regular water bottle. I would not recommend using this as an emergency filtration system.
