Rated5out of5byHiker77fromGreat towel, lightweight, and absorbentBought this towel for my weekend backpacking trips which are usually 2-3 days. First time using the towel was on North Manitou Island while swimming at the beach. Worked better than expected for its weight and size. The towel (large size) was able to dry me off completely and I hung on a tree branch to dry. About 2 hours later when I checked it was completely dry and I just folded it back up in the carrying case and threw it in my bag. My buddy brought along a normal beach towel and was in awe of how well this towel worked and how light it really was. Great purchase and highly recommend.

Its very lightweight, compact, absorbant and dries quickly. If your planning a trip and weight and packing space is a concern you won't go wrong with this one. Even being XXL its very light. Can't wait to take it along on my next trip!

Rated5out of5by491ScouterfromPerfect for all weatherNeeded a towel that I could use backpacking that would dry even when there was high humidity. This towel did an excellent job fitting my needs. Even dried hanging inside a tent when it rained all day.
Wash Separately! It bleeds!

Rated2out of5byNirgendwomanfromBLEEDS BLUEMy husband and I used these towels on a recent backpacking trip on the John Muir Trail. They were very absorbent, super-quick drying, generously sized, and light-weight. HOWEVER, when they are damp they bleed dye horribly! My damp towel came in contact with some of my other clothes (white shirt, khaki pants, and white socks) and now all those clothes look like they have been tie-dyed blue in parts. This doesn't really matter for grungy backpacking clothes, but I could not possibly recommend this product for use at the beach or for casual traveling, where the appearance of your clothes or swimwear might matter.

Rated4out of5byNanashi no gombeifromAs advertised. Ultra Lite towelTook it on a back packing trip in Waimanu Valley in HI. Packs really small & is a fairly large towel. Glad I brought it with me. It thin but absorbs water very well . It doesn't feel right as a beach towel does but for its prime function of drying you and drying quickly its superb. Its got a strap so you could tie it to a tree and let it dry. Haven't really tried machine washing it a whole lot yet so can't comment on long term durability. But if you just need a light towel that packs well and dries you well this is a good buy. If you want a towel with more warmth/fluffyness your going to have to sacrifice some portability.

Rated5out of5byLkkfromOne of my best purchasesThis was one of my favorite purchases for my recent glacier np trip. I needed a towel for car camping, but I didn't want to pack a bulky regular towel in my luggage and worry about it drying.
I got the xxl and it worked great. It is huge and was so nice to wrap up in after a campground shower. It has a little loop for hanging and dries fairly quickly. It's thin like a chamois, but really absorbent. I threw it in a washing machine halfway through my trip, at the laundry at swiftcurrent, and it washed great. I also pre washed it by itself before the trip.
It stuffs in it's own little mesh sack between uses, which also has a hook for hanging.
As I was unpacking after the trip, I thought to myself, this was a great purchase!

Rated3out of5byKim44fromGood travel towelI bought this to use as a beach towel when I travel. It is an excellent size for that and it is absorbent and dries quickly. I also bought the REI MultiTowel Lite Towel. I liked the REI one better because it was softer and nicer overall, but it does not come in as big of size as this one does.
