As a father, my review comes from a man's point of view. I bought this as a Christmas gift for my oldest daughter (24 years old), so I have not used this product personally. I bought the bag mostly for the color, because purple is her favorite. I also bought it because it is a well constructed product. It's a little bigger than the prior 2011 version which I bought several of for my younger daughters a year earlier. All the younger daughters like the earlier version.

Construction quality is great. The material is lightweight and strong while the zippers operate smoothly. The main compartment can easily hold my daughter's 13" Apple MacBook Pro. The bag can expand out quite a bit to hold much more. Unlike the men's Cloudwalker version (I own a 2010 model), there are no compression straps to cinch the bag down. However, this is no big deal because what I really appreciate is the organization options in the small outer compartment and that there are two mesh bottle pouches - one on each side. My older version Cloudwalker only has one bottle pouch (I would rather have 2), but it does have organization options in the small outer compartment. Though the new Cloudwalker has 2 bottle pouches and keeps the compression straps, it lacks the organization pouches inside the small outer pouch.

Overall, my daughter loves the product because it's her favorite color and it fits comfortably on her. I figure she can use it as an every day work bag. I plan to get the yellow Camelbak rain cover (S/M size) accessory. These work well and will fit this backpack as I have purchased them before.
