Comments about Vibram FiveFingers SeeYa Running Shoes - Men's:
This is my 10th pair of five finger shoes. They are my favorite so far. I use them to train on runs every week. I use toe socks and all my FF shoes. These have the best feeling of being close to the ground and having the most direct contact to the terrain.
The bottoms might be too thin for careless trail running but since I've been running VFFs for years this isn't an issue for me. I look where I step.
These are the most ventilated model I have tried yet. I have hundreds of miles in the Bikila line of shoes and have recently decided to go ahead and transition to SeeYas. I have run in Bikila, Bikila LS, Nike Free, Saucony Hattori, NEw Balance Minimus, and VFF spyridon

Comments about Vibram FiveFingers SeeYa Running Shoes - Men's:
I am an experienced runner. This was my fifth pair of Vibrams. In the past 2 years, I've done most of my running with Vibrams, having worn out 4 pairs so far (my first was the Vibram KSO, then a pair of Bikilas, and 2 pairs of Bikila LS's). The SeeYas look really niice and are amazingly light. The inside of the shoe is more crudely finished than the other models. During a 16 mile long run in these, I got huge blisters under the arches and insteps of both of my feet. Even though I am quite flatfooted, I've never had this problem with the other Vibrams. I tried using the Injinji socks (the socks with five fingers) - the socks dedinitely help. In future, I will only use these shoes with socks. My next pair of fivefinger shoes will be Bikila LS's - same price, better shoes.

Comments about Vibram FiveFingers SeeYa Running Shoes - Men's:
i average about 2-4 miles a day both in a gym and on road. I used to have the origional KSO's which were begining to wear out after 3 years. I have loved my upgrade. As some other reviews have said they feel like they may slip off but they dont and i dont expect they will as i break them in further. I found initially they rubbed a bit but after breaking them in they seem to be fine and i very much enjoy running with them They are much lighter than my KSO's and i feel i can run alot easier and it feels like im wearing nothing. Overall a great product.

Comments about Vibram FiveFingers SeeYa Running Shoes - Men's:
The shoes are great. In my case, the fit happened to be just wrong to the point where the creases of fabric at the base of the strap on the inside of my foot rubbed to the point where I got small blisters.
The shoes are very lightweight, pliable, breathable, and pretty comfortable. The pads on the bottom are about the same amount of cushion as most of Vibram's Five Finger line, with two exceptions. I noticed that the individual cushions for each line of toes makes it easier to cushion one section of the foot. I also noticed that the rigid arch support plate made the shoe a more supportive, stable product that felt more natural to my foot and made it easier to do more difficult activites. Example: suicides on a basketball court without feeling the shoe moving around the foot.
The issue of the blisters is at the base of strap on the inside of the arch of my foot. Now footwear I understand is very difficult to size for all shapes and sizes of feet. I happen to have thick tissue at this particular area of my foot. After about 20 - 25 minutes of running on a treadmill I would get a blister on one or both feet. I did this 3 times over the course of about 1 week and it didn't change.
I'd recommend testing these shoes out rigorously before buying them. You may have a better fit for your foot, which would be great because I really like the shoe concept and feel. But if you're like me, you won't be happy with how Vibram stitched the shoe together.
Small side note: at first, the shoe felt slightly too small to my foot. After running in it the first time, it felt like it fit perfect.

Comments about Vibram FiveFingers SeeYa Running Shoes - Men's:
Been running in these for 2+ months now after over a year with the Bikila LS. Great road feel, much lighter and more breathable than the Bikila's. In very cold temperatures they can get a little chilly on the feet. These are my first set of VFF's with the strap, and I had to learn the hard way not to over-tighten them - leave them on the loose side or I get abrasions.

Comments about Vibram FiveFingers SeeYa Running Shoes - Men's:
First, let me say I was one of those people who bought the FiveFinger KSOs as soon as possible after they came out. I've been running in FiveFingers since 2008 and now do CrossFit in them, as well. I love what they do and how they've made me run properly. I've used the KSOs, Bikilas, Komodo Sports, and SeeYas and have loved most things about them.
That being said, I've become very frustrated with FiveFingers over time because every single pair seems to have some little quirk - some bigger than others. I got the SeeYas to replace a pair of Bikilas that developed holes between the big and second toes after only 70 miles or so. I got those Bikilas after the rubber on the big toe separated from the material on an identical pair of Bikilas (REI was extremely helpful in both situations and refunded the full amounts).
I've put 400 miles on my SeeYas to date. On my first run with them, I ran 3 miles and developed a big blister in the arch of my foot because of the frictions caused by the single strap. I worked through it and after the blister healed the area was tough enough so I haven't gotten a blister, since. All was well until the first time I went running in the rain. After I finished the run, I noticed that the lining had begun to deform and several hard bumps developed. The lining could also move freely against the bottom of the shoe in some large areas. I've continued to run in the shoes and I don't really notice the bumps when I get going, but they're slowly worsening - especially when I run in wet conditions. The rubber has a lot of life left, but I know the inside fabric won't last much longer. Note that I only use SeeYas for running and never machine wash them. FiveFingers have a tendency to disintegrate when machine-washed even though they say they're machine-washable.
Like I said, I love my FiveFingers; but if you're looking for a minimalist shoe that's going to last, I can't recommend them based on my experience. I do recommend you buy them from REI, though, because you simply can't beat their exchange policy.

Comments about Vibram FiveFingers SeeYa Running Shoes - Men's:
I use this at the gym for leg days and running on the treadmill and on the road.
Running never felt so liberating.
Fits like a glove and feels next to nothing.
As a newbie 5fingers runner, I experienced all the aches(my calves) which other runners warned about when switching from regular running shoes.
But so far I have never experienced pain in my knees while running. yeah!
I'm so sold on this that I'm thinking of getting another pair as a backup.
The only thing is, I wonder how many miles can it last?
Time will tell.

Comments about Vibram FiveFingers SeeYa Running Shoes - Men's:
I purchased these shoes three months ago for summertime road running and they are great. They are so flexible, light and comfortable that I wear them as much as possible. I find them excellent for running, walking, cycling, doing errands etc. After 3 months of almost every day use they are showing minor wear. I have purchased three other Vibram styles in the past and these are the most comfortable.
The only activity which I have avoided with these shoes is hiking since the soles don't have a heavy tread like the Vibram Trek shoes do.

I love the shoes but I purchased the same size I wear in the Bikila,KSO, and Komodo but since they are so thin I have to wear toe socks with them.

Comments about Vibram FiveFingers SeeYa Running Shoes - Men's:
This is my third pair of VFF's and it is the best yet. I've had the KomodoSports, and the KSO, and the SeeYa's are truly better than the two. I've had them for maybe a month and the road running I've done on them so far is absolutely amazing. I have no idea how they could make their shoes better, but they did. They are lighter, and faster. The barefoot experience is so much more authentic with these shoes, I can't entirely explain it.
