Rated3out of5bycjtruemperfromLove the 3-in-1 option!I bought these pants for my annual fall backpacking trip in the mountains of New Mexico. It is always hard to find clothing for the fluctuating weather conditions, so I was drawn to the 3 in one 1 option. The fit was great and very stylish, but by the second day on the trip the material had streached out and I really needed a belt, also the triple stitching on the waistband was rough, especially when wearing a backpack. I plan on wearing them on day hikes in the future.

Rated4out of5byButtonfromBeware the waistband seams! For regular day hikes, these pants are wonderful. They move easily, dry quickly, and are light enough that you hardly notice them. However, the seams present on the waistband can cause issues if you have a heavier backpack on. After adding a multi-day pack, the seams rubbed on my hips enough to cause open sores.
If you have no additional gear at waist level, I would absolutely recommend these pants. If you have "conflicting" lines though, it might be best to consider something with less going on at the waistband.

Rated4out of5byOver 50 hikerfromVery Comfortable for Curvy women!I just purchased 2 pairs of these pants. I tried on many pairs of convertible SPF pants because I am going on a 6 day hiking trip this summer. I have a curvy figure and most of the pants I tried were too tight or too big in the rear end and hips.
But these pants are different! They have a stretchy side and back panel that is the same color as the rest of the pant so you can not tell it even exists. This gives the pants the stretch I needed and yet they fit and look beautiful! I also like the longer 'capri' length when you zip off the bottom of the leg and even when you roll up the leg to it's shortest length it is still a respectable comfortable length for me. Also you can't really see the zipper when you wear it as a capri length. After I washed the pants they dried very quickly and looked nice without having to put them in the dryer.
I think they are a very nice pant and I would recommend them to anyone but especially if you are a bit 'curvy' you should check these pants out!

Rated5out of5byPFPurplefromNot your mother's convertible pants! The fabric does shrink a tiny bit, so do purchase accordingly. That being said, these are fantastic pants! They sit a little lower on the waist than most convertible pants and they have stretch in just the right places. They are so much cuter than these types of pants usually are. Finally! A convertible pant for those with a little style.

Rated5out of5byfiggyfromLove, love, love these pants!I love these pants because they have enough stretch to keep them comfortable, but don't stretch out. I have other pants that stretch so much the waist ends up down around my hips. Not these - they are the best! And I love the zip-off leg option, and it's easy to do.

Rated4out of5byktbugfromAwesomeI really love these pants. Was convinced to buy Kuhl's from my fella, as he loves his. The legs are wide enough for free range of movement when climbing, but not baggy enough to get in the way. They're a little long for my tastes, so I usually just unzip them into capris. Hiking-wise, they're great too.
