Rated5out of5bydrubrufromFantastic PantsThese pants are great for my backpacking and climbing trips. They're made from flexible fabric that's comfortable and cool during the hot summer days. The fabric seems durable enough to hold up to some abuse. I also like that the waist actually fits properly (32) so that a belt isn't necessary. This works out well for backpacking because my waist belt isn't digging into an actual belt.

Rated5out of5byMedical WriterfromLook good and so comfortableI had two pairs of these pants in peat moss (drab green). Then I saw the gravel color on sale, so I picked up two more. My only slightly negative comment is that the gravel (gray) ones have a slight green tint to them, so they are not so different from the peat moss ones. But I'll keep all four pairs. These pants are excellent for travel (very comfortable, with a little stretch) as well as for casual wear. They look good around town and even with a sport jacket. Some people have commented that they do not like the mesh side pockets because things (keys, nail clipper) can get caught in the mesh. This is true, but for all the good attributes of these pants, I still think they're great.

Rated5out of5byZYLfromLove this pantsI used it while hiking in the Great smoky mountain. It was very humid when I was there. The pants helps me a lot.
1) The pants are very breathable and keeps me as dry as it could.
2) It feels very flexible so I can move my legs freely while hiking and jumping from rock to rock.
1) I think it is not "bad" of the pants but when it is very hot and humid, I prefer shorts to this pant. I hope this is convertible.
