Marmot Limelight 3P Tent is rated 4.65 out of 5 by 60.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing tent My buddy and I used this tent for hunting this year at 12000 feet here in Colorado this year, 2012. We encountered rain and snow which left us tent bound for almost 40 hours. It rained for 20 hours and snowed for just about the same. We stayed completely dry and warm. The winds really picked up at night and the tent held strong without any of the guy lines. The fly is so tight to the poles it does not tough the tent. The poles never bent in like some tents I have used in the past in strong winds. We were concerned when it started snowing about it being a 3 season tent but it really kept us warm. The temps got down into the upper teens and with the wind who knows what the wind chill was. I would recommend this to anyone. I would like it more if it was a little lighter and the vestibules were a little larger, however I feel that is nit picky for such a great price and quality product. If we had three people it would have been miserable however for the two of us it provided plenty of room.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid Tent Overall this tent is a win. It's a great balance of cost and features. Sure you can find tents that will out perform the Marmot but you will also pay significantly more for them. Additionally, you can find a gob of tents that are a lot cheaper than this tent but you will undoubtedly be compromising when it comes to the 4 categories outlined above. So if you're looking for a solid all around tent that won't break the bank, go buy a Marmot Limelight 3P and don't look back.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very Durable I have had this tent a year and a half now, and have had enough camping trips to properly evaluate it. I really love this tent. The size inside is very comfortable, I am able to sit up, and move around comfortably in it. I use it as a 2 man tent being 6'2 200 lbs, and I like my space. I have had it in many different situation and have never had an issue with wind or rain. The only reason it rated it a 4 instead of a 5 is because of it's weight. It is a little heavy for long backpacking trips. I took off all unnecessary tags and weighed it with everything it comes with and it came to 7 lbs 3 oz. I have felt it has been worth the little extra weight, but I am more of a comfort guy when it comes to my sleeping in the wild.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great all-around tent I bought this for a road trip and to camp at Burning Man in the desert for a week. I first set it up in my apartment to get the hang of it, but it was so easy, I really didn't need to. It set up fast in the desert (used for 2 people), and worked great. My buddy left the fly open one day and it filled with sand, but I was able to empty it out, lift the whole thing off the ground, and flip it over and empty all the sand through the mesh pretty easily. It held up in the wind out there pretty well, too. A couple weeks later I went backpacking into the woods of Southern Illinois with my girlfriend and we used this tent. I carried it all (not split up between us), and it wasn't too bad and fit in my 70L hiking bag quite well. It set up super easy, and folds up well. The light weight is important for backpacking, as well as working well for car camping. I've only used it with one other person, and it was a good amount of room on the inside. Can't speak for three people, like it's intended, but I could imagine it might be a little tight, as most are. The mesh walls are nice and allow for good airflow. I've spent a total of 9 nights in this tent and it's been a great investment. It's nice that it included both a footprint and rainfly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great tent Used this in a very wet environment, stayed plenty dry and would trust this in the worst conditions. Have a dog that loved it and I trusted the tough nails of a 60 puppy not to break through the floor and even the mosquito netting that took the occasional paw for potty break. Real light at under total 6 pounds for the extra room and comfort. For a big guy over 6,3" 205lbs I didn't feel cramped in any situation and for the weight its unbeatable. The best part was the camouflage during the day (green rain fly) and the reflective corners and logos made it super easy to navigate campsite at night.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for 2 plus gear My wife and I shopped around for a good all-purpose tent. We thought that the Limelight 2p was a little crammed, so we opted for the 3p. It is the perfect amount of space for the two of us and our backpacking gear. The tent set up very easily. My wife is short and was able to attach the poles without any trouble. It sets up and tears down/packs up quickly and easily. Both are a one person job that can be accomplished in under 5 minutes. We live in the Pacific Northwest and have had absolutely no trouble with dampness in the tent. On our last backpacking trip, we camped out by a river. That night it got down in the low 40s, but with the rainfly on we had no trouble with drafts or condensation. When we tore down, we didn't even have any moisture on the footprint. So far, we have only used this for one season and will follow up as we get more trips in. It has been great and I look forward to using it for years.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Outstanding Camping Tent This is my go-to tent for car camping and canoe camping. Easy set-up, dependable wind protection and no-leak performance make this tent one of the best I've used. Like all tents of the modern age, the Limelight 3-p is most comfortable as a 2-man tent, but no points off for that. The only gripe I have is that the short, perpendicular ridge-pole connects only to a loop. For a high end tent from such a reputable company, you would think that a grommet-type connection that would keep the pole from sliding would not be too much to ask. This single improvement would hold the cross-pole in place in windy conditions and make this tent near-perfect. Still, a five-star tent.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Still the best tent I have ever owned! Still a great tent... from Arizona to Arkansas to Louisiana... and I am planning on taking the tent with me on my Hawaii trip to Molokai in Feb 2014. Mostly, I wanted to upload a couple of shots of the tent in action. You will love this tent!
