REI Agility Sling Bag - Women'sis rated3.875out of5by8.
Rated4out of5bykellyburgfromBetween a purse and a backpackI had the purse, similar style, though smaller. I liked it. I was looking for a bigger, day bag size, like a backpack, to be kind to my shoulders. I like the 3 separate zipper pockets. I like the light fabric inside. I love having 2 water bottle pockets. The phone holder fits my phone! My big request would be to make this bag a bit taller. I want to fit a slim binder and/or my computer easily into this bag. Right now, the bag is an inch, or so, too short. I have to wiggle the fabric and zipper over the sides of the binder. I don't want to tear the fabric. I use this bag, instead of a shoulder bag, to carry the load on my back.

Rated4out of5byRetired GrannyfromGreat sling backpackI bought this sling backpack in preparation for a trip to S. America where I'll be doing some hiking and general touring around. I'll use it like a daypack to carry rain gear, camera, water, etc. I wanted to be able to access items without having to take the backpack off. In my testing prior to the trip I really like the size and accessibility, but I have decided to add a velcro'd tab to the phone pocket on the strap. My phone is too large to fit, so I want to carry my camera in this pocket. The camera stays in the pocket just fine when I'm wearing the sling, but it falls out when I've taken the backpack off and put into the car or wherever. Overall this sling backpack will work really well for me.

Rated1out of5byEcovlkefromDisappointed!I loved the style, size and construction of the bag. It was perfect for what I needed. When I tried to sling the strap across my shoulder I found the strap was way too short. If I strap the bag cross way and have the bag in front it was so short it went right across my chest. If I placed the bag to my back it sat horizontal since the strap was so short, which means if I put a water bottle in the side pocket it would fall out. I carry my bags hip level so I can be hands free, and when I need to access anything in the bag it is easy and simple. The bag was useless for me, so I had to spend 8 bucks to return it. Seriously disappointed in this bag.

Rated4out of5byJenn090fromgreat day bagI live in Manhattan and travel around the boroughs a lot for my job, so I needed a bag that would carry essentials, but was compact and easy to move around town with. It has just the right amount of pockets to keep all my stuff organized. My 27 oz Klean Kanteen fits perfectly in the side pocket (any larger/wider bottle would be a problem), and I use the other side pocket for my umbrella. I can fit my iPad, EDC, a light sweater, snack, and a small notebook in the main compartment and pens, wallet, keys, cords and earbuds, and sunglasses in the smaller one. I use the outermost small pocket for items like gum and hand sanitizer. All this and it isn't too bulky to carry into shops and restaurants, and I love that I can easily swing it to the front when I can grab a seat on the subway or if the car is crowded. The zippers are smooth although I would like to replace the webbing pulls with cord. One thing that would make this pack even better is if it was hydration bladder compatible, but with my size water bottle I'm okay with it without that feature. I have taken it on a couple of short bus trips and know that it will make a great carry on bag the next time I fly.

Rated5out of5byMizKimfromGreat bag - distributes weight evenlyI use this for a daily bag. I have to carry a lot of medical related supplies. And it was hard to find a bag that would hold a lot of stuff, but still feel comfortable & distribute weight evenly. And I can adjust to wear over shoulder. cross body or like a backpack. Love this bag! Although I have to use for other reasons, I think it would make good day hike bag. Easy to adjust straps to what is comfortable. And easy to access everything in the bag.

Rated5out of5byjohn spinhirnefromGreat Bag for day to day useI bought this for daily use for going back and forth to work. I also bought it for daily use on my week long trip to New York City. It did great in New York carring the things I needed every day and I did not have to bag check it anywhere required bag checks for certain size bags. It works great as as my daily commuter bag carring my iPad and books that I use at work. When I purchased this bag, my local REI did not have the men's version in stock so I purchased the women's version. It works great and I am very pleased with it.

Rated4out of5bycltinseattlefromGreat little bagI agree with the previous reviewer - the "water bottle pockets" on the sides are not big enough for water bottles. Maybe sunglasses or a cell phone. (What's an umbrella?) Otherwise I really love this bag. It is small and lightweight and easy to carry. For my day-to-day carry, I carry light so I don't jam pack it with weight and it's great for that purpose. It has pockets galore - and pockets inside of pockets. The one thing I changed were the zipper pulls but that's just me being picky about my zipper pulls. The zipper pulls were small for me so I replaced them with paracord zipper pulls, but I tend to do that with almost all of my stuff. I prefer paracord in general. All-in-all this is a great little sling bag if you like to travel light. I got the green color so it would be easier to see if I'm on my bike or if I toss it on the ground at night. I would recommend this sling bag to anyone.

Rated4out of5byGrowler69fromPractical, minimalist bagI love this bag. Great small size but fits both my iPad and MacBook Air 13" (note: this is without a protective sleeve though for the computer). Lots of great pockets for organization. Super comfortable hands free sling design (for either lefties or righties) is helpful when you are juggling a preschooler with his own stuff with the other two hands. The fabric seems tough and easy to clean. Two downsides that keep me from rating it a 5. Side pockets for water bottles are a bit small and seem to stretch out too much if you put a Camelback sized bottle in it. The big minus is that the bottom strap buckle ripped out of the pack after only 1 month of use. I am going to hope it was an anomaly and get a replacement and hope for the best. I really do love the bag, so hope it holds up this time!
