After months of researching and going through all the options I chose this bike. What a find! I am woking on health goals and have three Tri Sprints lined up for the summer. This bike will easily take me there. It's fast and easy to move out and makes you want to work harder. I am always a 'back of the pack' girl on my Hybrid but was able to easily keep up with my cycling club on my new road bike. Even the hills just got easier. I love being on this bike. Shifting is smooth and the bike is light weight and it is very responsive. I prefer not using Sora shifters so I spent a little more. You can upgrade to 105s with the Synapse 5 + $200 but for my level of riding this bike should give me years of great rides.

This is my first real road bike after using only a hybrid. For the price and weight of the bike, I am in heaven! I feel like I'm floating when I ride! I did invest in a upgraded seat though.
