Rated4out of5byjust another kenfromThe Bike is FunI love it so far. One gotcha was the prada valves. Went to put air in before my ride and dont have a pump for prada. I bought the converters to regular shrader and it works fine.

Rated4out of5by202runsfromGreat Bike!I'm a runner and I'm 5'6" (so it may vary if you're taller or shorter); I've competitively run almost every distance from the mile to marathons. I use it for primarily cross-training but would be interested in using the bike for a duathalon/cycling race or two if I can find one I like. I do wish I could've afforded a full carbon frame. But I do love that it handles well, I feel like it's responsive (but then again, I've not a competitive cyclist), I do love that this bike has the paddle shifters compared to the thumb shifters, the brakes are great and responsive (though the brake paddles are a little far from the drob bars), it comes with two water bottle cage slots, love the ease of the quick release wheels and brakes. If you're coming from an older bike (like I did) or using this as a starter/intermediate road bike, then I'd recommend it.
Some cons: I do find that the highest/hardest gear tends to be easier than what I expected and wish it came with an extra higher/harder gear, slightly thinner tires, the shifters can be a little moody if you don't push them hard enough, and carbon fiber wheels

Rated4out of5byurs0polarfromGreat Bike!Very hard to beat for the price, the Strada comes with Shimano 105 brakes, shifters, and rear derailleur. Front derailleur is Tiagra but works just fine. Also has a carbon fork. I hear that most of the aluminum frames at this price point are made in China by Giant or one of the other frame makers, so if you don't mind the name, you are basically getting a 105 equipped enthusiast bike for a great price. The aero wheels are nice too. A lot of my riding partners have Trek, Cannondale, and Specialized road bikes in this component range, and this bike easily holds its own (as long as the rider does his part of course). This bike is great for seeing if serious road riding/ beginner racing is for you, and will be perfectly adequate unless you decide to go custom / full carbon / whatever in the future.

Rated5out of5byBirdrafromLove this bikeAfter a twenty year hiatus, I decided to get back into road cycling again. I was looking for a bike with good components that wouldn't break the bank. The Strada more than filled the bill, especially as it was on sale when purchased.
I've put over 600 miles on her and besides having to make some adjustments to the seat height and angle have had no complaints. The bike is very responsive with smooth shifting, quick acceleration, and responsive brakes. The wide gear range and light weight make hills feel like bumps in the road.
I've been spending so much time on this bike my wife has started calling it my girlfriend. I'm actually dreading the onset of winter. Guess it's time to buy some rollers so I can spend more time with my "girlfriend".

Rated5out of5byWisoc003fromTall Woman Loves It!I'm 5'10" (female) and this bike fits my geometry very well (I own a "large"). Its perfect for my frame. It doesn't feel like there's too much or too little bike underneath me. The seat is a little uncomfortable, but it didn't stop me from taking it out for 50+ right away. And, 250 miles later, I still haven't replaced the seat so it really must not be THAT bad. Anyways -- bike is pretty light, it really cruises and has a wide range of gears for those difficult climbs. The padding on the handle bars is nice (haven't needed to wear my gloves yet). The breaks are responsive and it shifts smoothly. I absolutely adore this bike. I did not pay full price for it - REI had a sale the time I bought it. For the price I paid it was worth every penny. However, I don't know that I would have paid full price for it. If its on sale, BUY IT!
