The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Rated5out of5byDylanGreenfromUnbelievable!I read the reviews and this thermos sounded like a good one so I took a chance on it. What drove me to write a review was its unbelievable heat retention which I didn't realize until almost a year after purchasing it. I occasionally bring a thermos to work in the winter, of coffee, or tea. One day I forgot my thermos in the car all day. Let me set the scene for you. Cold winter day in the 20's and I worked a 12 hr day. I started driving home and realized my thermos was sitting in the center console, so i took the cover off and pressed the button and poured the tea of the day directly in my mouth. I almost swerved off the road because I burned my tongue. I couldn't believe after at least 13 hrs the liquid was still so hot. I said to myself this is amazing, I should write a review; but like for most people life is very busy and I forgot about it. Then just yesterday, I had a similar experience. I forgot my tea in the car again and it was even colder out, low teens. This time I didn't have any on the trip home and put it on my kitchen counter 14hrs after filling it. Today I poured the contents into a cup, now this is 25 hours later, and it was still steaming hot. Unbelievable! This Zojirushi thermos is well worth the $30ish dollars and will serve you well. I give it a quick rinse when I get home and there is still minor staining from the coffee on the plastic top seal, but that doesn't bother me. Outstanding quality and great design. I highly recommend this product and brand.

Rated5out of5byDeezefromHot Little Money SaverI got this for Xmas this year having put it on my list after reading the reviews. I have a great REI travel mug I've used for two years but I always only drink half and dump the other half when its cold, and then buy a hot dollar coffee at around 1-2pm. I've only used this for a week but everytime I do I am drinking scalding hot coffee well into the day. I finished my entire half liter now instead of dumping it and no longer need to buy a dollar coffee. My estimate is I save double on my home coffee expense and $5 a week on work coffees. If you spend a lot on afternoon coffees this will save you serious cash. Also plan on taking this skiing, fishing & peakbagging with me, maybe wrapped in a few socks to insulate exterior steel. Really endless possibilities and lots of savings here. Great product!

Rated5out of5byN8JUCfromLightweight, good heat retentionMuch lighter weight than most other vacuum flasks. The stopper can't be left open when the cap is screwed on, eliminating that surprise.

Rated5out of5byTammyRockClimberfromCan't live without it!This is the best thermos I ever found. I had been camping for years and never found anything to retain heat for more than a couple of hours. But this has to be the best. I used at work - made some coffee at 6 am. I never got to drink the whole thing. Th NEXT day, 24 hours later, I emptied it out and the coffee was still warm and drinkable (but I didn't!). So if you need stuff to stay warm this is the product. It feels good to grip. I dropped it a couple of times (don't recommend) and it still works - no dents. It slides easily into a pack and is light. The rubber parts need attention to clean - I never do this though, and it still works. I now have 2 thermoses - one for coffee and the other for tea. I just need to get another for cold drinks. THIS IS THE BEST THERMOS!!!!!

Rated5out of5byJijjlefromstill going...5 days a week for over a year now and this unit is as good as the day I received it. no leakage and holds my hot coffee from 6am until the afternoon.
daily cleaning...soak the drinking apparatus in the cup/lid briefly (soap rarely) before throwing on the dryer rack.
light and great on the trail for you a couple friends to have a little coffee at lunch.
couldn't be happier with the bottle.
