Light, efficient and ready for long miles, the Marin Verona T3 105 carbon road bike is built to go the distance, whether it's your first century or your 100th.

Carbon fiber frame and fork are designed to offer increased stability and put the rider in a slightly more upright position for enhanced comfort over longer distances
Seatstays are slightly curved to improve rider comfort; chainstays are shaped to maximize efficiency and power transfer
Compact FSA Gossamer crankset and 12-28 cassette enable a wide gear range for easy spinning up hills and speedy cruising on plateaus
Shimano Tiagra shifters guide the 105 rear derailleur and Tiagra front derailleur confidently through the 20 gear combinations
Dual-pivot caliper brakes facilitate smooth, dependable speed management
Lightweight, smooth-spinning Shimano wheels are decked out with Continental Ultra Sport tires
Cockpit is outfitted with Ritchey Comp components and topped with a Selle Italia Q-BIK saddle

I was fortunate to snatch up one of these Verona bikes before they were all gone. I have been wanting a carbon road bike for a while, and one with a more relaxed geometry, like this one. I am upgrading from a Cannondale aluminum bike. This carbon ride is much smoother. And lighter! This bike is very responsive. The brakes on this bike are very good -- I am a clydesdale rider that routinely gets going above 20mph. Saddle is comfy -- I will not be changing this one out like I have with other road bikes in the past. The handlebar tape is very grippy and has a great feel to it. To top it off, this bike looks fantastic. The color scheme is more subdued, which is what I like. All in all, this is the best bike purchase I have made -- I look forward to putting many miles on this bike.

I've rode this bike all over and have nothing to say bad about it. I love how it handles and how light it is. It climbs up hills with no problems and stops on a ime going down them. When I come to a road I can't ride on I just pick it up and carry it because it's so light. I usualy do that when I ride by a hiking trail. Just carry my bike through the woods till I get to the paved road on the other side. I've put miles on this bike and haven't had nothing bad happen.

I had to replace my road bike quickly (stolen!), and I lucked out finding this bike at a great price. The carbon frame makes for a much more comfortable ride than alluminum. Only 2 complaints: The brakes are weak and so are the shifters. I'm going to have to replace them both, but the brakes first. On a steep fas down hill, I don't trust them to stop me fast enough. despite "105" being part of the model name, the only 105 component is the rear derailluer. The Tiagra shifters are noticeably less reliable than the 105s on my previous bike, but they will do for now.
