Giro Aeon Bike Helmetis rated4.7out of5by10.
Rated4out of5byfromPricey but high qualityif u have never tried a Giro helmet I would certainly recommend this one or the Atmos which is a little cheaper. NOt much diff between them I just thought the AEon looked btr. It is very light. But having been really impressed with their bike shoes I was not as impressed with the helmet. That being said I would still buy it again.

Rated5out of5byfromProtected me in a crashI live in NYC and ride my bike about 4 miles a day to and from work. I ride all year unless it is snowing or raining hard. No accidents in 12 years ... and then I hit a pothole on a dark road, flew over my handlebars, broke my wrist, dislocated my shoulder, and hit my head. This helmet was fantastic. If I tapped on my head with my finger right now, that would hurt more than the accident. There was a small dent and I am in the process of re-ordering a new helmet. It is also extremely lightweight. Not cheap, but for me, it was totally worth it.

Rated5out of5byfromWorth itIt has a secure fit and nice adjustment system. It was extremely light and allowed for excellent ventilation. Unfortunately after about 20 miles the first day I wore it I ended up crashing at pretty high speeds. I landed on my head and shoulder. I broke my collarbone but didn't even have a headache. The helmet held up well and did what we want it to. Its pricey but after a crash I can say my head is worth it.

Rated5out of5byfromNo more strain in my neckI thought this small size helmet is under 200g, but it is 211g. I wear this light weight helmet all the time and I love it. My neck is feeling much better since I used the Giro Aeon. My only problem is to relase the clip.

Rated4out of5byfromWonderfully lightAfter using helmets for over 20 years, this is the best fitting and lightest I've ever worn. Clearly the leading edge of current design and material use. Feels like you're close to not wearing a helmet at all. The fit system is the most secure I've ever expericenced. The lightness and secure fit adds a feeling of confidence. Expensive, but the thoughtful design is most evident when you put one on.

Rated4out of5byfrom"Overpriced"It is really light. I haven't really noticed the advantage in ventilation over my Giro Stylus which I got 2 years ago for almost 1/4 the price of the Aeon. Better fitting than others I have tried in the past.
