I don't know why I didn't get a travel pillow in the past. Since I had to endure an 8,000 mile round-trip flight, I wanted something to help me sleep more comfortably, but didn't take up much luggage space. This pillow worked perfectly...it cradled my head so that it wasn't flopping around, and folded up neatly for storage. I would definitely recommend this product.

Loved the cosy removable cover and the large inflate/deflate valve, but on the very first outing the pillow would not stay inflated. I checked for damage and leaks, but it seems the valve wasn't staying shut. What an uncomfortable four days on the train!

I've now had 3 of these Eagle Creek inflatable neck pillows, and each one has split at the seam of the interior bladder after minimal use. When I've called Eagle Creek Customer Service, they offer the option of sending it in for a possible warranty replacement or buying a new air bladder. Problem with either option is the same thing will likely happen again.

Love this pillow for travel! I bus to work an hour each way and this thing is indespensible. I've tried every other pillow and most of them are too large to be practical and not very comfy. This is by far the best. It folds down smaller than any other and takes mere seconds to inflate and deflate. I love the fact that the cover is removable for washing.

I originally bought this for a long plane ride to Asia, but quickly found that it had an even better use: backpacking. In fact, I find the pillow does more for me while used lying down than on your neck while sitting (though it does that just fine). I cannot sleep on my back and this enables some much more comfortable positions in my sleeping bag than a regular stuff pillow, including face-down if you need it as the neck hole acts similarly to a massage table's head rest. Given the light weight and packable size, this is gonna find its way into my pack or carry-on from here on out.

It loses one star because of the relatively high price compared to other pillows and the fact that it does leak air slightly due to the "wide-open-style" air nozzle.

I have bought 3 sandman neck pillows - all have sprung leaks I could not fix within very little use. I also bought two eagle creek backrests and returned both because they deflated on the first trip. In case you think I am a heavy person or heavy user - I am neither. Excellent design - I love the easy inflation - terrible quality do not depend on it for a trip!

Have had this for several years and always bring when flying. Holds my head and allows me to doze or sleep while sitting upright, which I'd always had problems doing without it. Same goes for sleeping in the car on long trips (in passenger seat, of course). Nice and compact and soft cover.

I will somewhat overinflate, then tap the valve to let air out and get the right firmness. One interesting "feature" is that the firmness changes with the cabin air pressure, so will sometimes have to adjust in-flight--a characteristic of any inflatable. But I'll take that tradeoff for the compactness vs foam or stuffed pillows.

I've used this travel pillow for awhile and lost it. I didn't have time to get another one or they were out and I regretted it! I tried to buy something similar somewhere else and it was cheesy and didn't have the awesome feature of blowing up with just a few breaths so I took it back and will buy another one of these.

I just love the simplicity and compactness of it!

After many cheap neck pillows i finally splurged and bought this more expensive one. You can clean it by taking out the cover. It leaked after a few use though but it came with lifetime guarantee so i sent it in and they replaced it with a new one that has been working fine for months now. [...]
