Rated5out of5bytomatocityfromPolartec PowerThe heavy weight top and bottom work as well as the medium weight and light weight. If not wearing them I almost always have a set or two on the motorcycle. I adventure travel throughout California and as far east as Montana and Texas.

This base layer kept me warm and vented perspiration effectively, while behaving as a well-fitted shirt should, comfortable. Another feature I like is the scalability this base layer gives you, allowing you to add or remove layers as conditons change without having to remove the shirt as it can stand on its own as you warm up.

Rated2out of5byeohippusfromOne size doesn't fit allLove the design and fit when it's on, except:
Sizing is weird; I wear an S, but couldn't get into the S. M looks and feels great on but is hard to get on and off. Maybe this would work best as a zip-up.
Sleeves really need elastic cuffs; unless you have unusually long arms these cuffs are always going to get into your food, your water, your fire, etc.

Rated5out of5byBoRegardfromFor the price, can't beat it!!!Excellent for skiing as a midlayer under a shell followed up by a baselayer underneath. I'm 5'11" 180lbs and typically fall right between M and L in most clothes, but the large fits me comfortably/relaxed. The medium which I tried in at the store was much too small, I could barely get it over my chest. The outside material is smooth, not quite silky, but a polyester-ish feeling that allows a shell to glide easily over it. The inside is very soft fleece which even feels nice against bare skin, although I typically wear a light base layer or t-shirt underneath.
I bought this for a ski layer, but I like it so much I even wear it casually, around town, to work, even lounging around the house. My wife even says it looks good too! Can't beat that! I may buy it in another color. It breathes incredibly well for how thick it is and dries quick too. Love love love this fleece (or whatever it is)!

Rated4out of5byLarryrayfromGreat base layerGreat insulator for cold weather hunting and fishing. Thought I followed the sizing chart but Medium was way too small. Easily returned for Large which is great except for sleeves slightly long. Have used on January trout fishing outing and stayed toasty!

Rated5out of5byBsRfromGreat baselayerI own a couple of these and a couple in the crew style and they are great as a base layer or alone ( as long as it isn't to breezy) and still stay fairly warm when wet. They are very durable and hold their own against much more expensive options
