Novara Express 2.0 Bike Jacket - Women'sis rated3.5out of5by6.
Rated3out of5byPschwfromStylish jacketI use the jacket for cycling and traveling as a sylish jacket that is waterproof and windproof. It has a sylish cut and doesn't look like a rain jacket. The disappointment is that there is no hood and that there are no side pockets.

Rated4out of5byStepherrfromLove it!I have had this jacket for appx. a month. I have used it several times. (January) I am a big believer in layering, and multi-season use so its lightweight status was what I was seaking. I do not depend on this jacket for warmth, strictly to keep me dry and protected from the wind. If I wanted a parka...I would have bought a parka ;)
The sleeves are long and stay put over the cuffs of my gloves. The tail is long and protects most of my butt from the spray from my tire. The neck fits comfortably when zipped to the top and while wearing other neck warming shirts or a neck gaiter.
I love the single large pocket in the back. it fits my hand pump, extra tube, small multi-tool, phone, and perhaps a snack if needed. It is easy to clip a tail light on the zipper and have it show with the flap.
The jacket doesn't really breath, but that doesn't bother me. I don't expect to be dry (aka not sweaty) when I am done riding...if that happened I would be more concerned!
I do prefer darker colors with reflective additions...so if the jacket (along with other bike and generally women's items) came in a black, gray, or navy that would be optimal...but I will settle for the bright blue and hope it fades...or gets extremely dirty.
Overall a great purchase, will be great for warmer wet weather also.

Rated4out of5byDancing Climbing CyclistfromLove it!I wanted a wind-proof bike jacket in a bright but not totally offensive color. I ordered the Canari jacket in pink. While it was a great bright color, it, like most cycling clothing, was designed for a minuscule person. The proportions were all wrong. So I went to REI to try on jackets and lucked out with this jacket. It fits, it blocks wind and insulates me on my commute in cooler weather, and the blue color is great. I just love it.

Rated3out of5byJenDCfromGood waterproof jacket, but too largePros:
- Waterproof & Windproof! Exactly what I'm looking for in a jacket for my rainy/chilly bike commutes.
- It's actually a bit stylish that you could wear it as a normal jacket & the color isn't so bright that it screams "I'm only wearing this jacket for visibility."
- The sizing is WAY TOO LARGE. I am generally an XS for everything unless my shoulders are too wide for certain tops (height 5'0'', 105 lbs, athletic build with swimmer shoulders). Even with layers AND a jacket underneath, it's still draping on my body. I really like the jacket itself and am very disappointed that it doesn't fit. If you're considering purchasing this jacket, don't worry about sizing up to account for layers.
- I agree with the other reviewer's comment about the material seeming like a shower curtain. Breathability is ok, though I wasn't expecting it to be near perfect in that aspect (this isn't Arcteryx!).
Overall I would definitely recommend this to someone of a bigger stature & width.

Rated2out of5byCricket2fromNot BreathableThe good: This jacket does a great job knocking the wind off. It fits very well and is not bulky.
The bad: Not breathable at all.
This would be a great jacket if you do not sweat. After 8 miles you can feel the sweat dripping inside the jacket. For the price this jacket does not work. Feels like an expensive shower curtain. Returning it.
