I use this for nursing school. I got the black one, and I love the simple design. Not too many pockets, but enough to keep you organized. Small, but large enough to fit everything you need. Great quality. Had to write a review I love it so much :)

Comments about Patagonia Violeta Daypack - Women's:
We used this as our main day pack on a busy 3 week European trip to 3 countries. It was extremely comfortable and I liked the organization and pockets; especially the inside pocket where I would store passports, extra money and felt secure that they were harder to access. I also loved the top zipper compartment where I most often kept my phone, and again, knew it was safe. I used the inner organizer pockets for things that my family accessed often-wipes, bandaids, etc. Mesh water pockets on sides were great and were also used for camera and other things. It was a good system.
I chose the bag more for looks as I wanted one that was sleeker and didn't look like I was mountaineering and this was perfect. It was great for hiking, walking through cities, picking up groceries, and, of course, as a carry-on on the way over.
Great purchase-love this back pack!

Comments about Patagonia Violeta Daypack - Women's:
Very lightweight backpack which is really nice. Cup holders on side are very durable and won't wear out like the ones made out of netting on my last bag. Bag does have little pockets to put things in, however, they would be much better if they were in a separate pocket as opposed to the main pocket. If the bag is full, it can be difficult to reach items near the back. Overall, a really well-made bag (only time will tell, have used it for 1 month with no issues), but there are a few things that could be better in my opinion.

Comments about Patagonia Violeta Daypack - Women's:
I'm an engineering student, and I got this backpack to replace a backpack I had for the last seven years. With graduation approaching within the next year, I decided to splurge and get myself a pack I could use for travel for many years to come. I got the turquoise color because it was on sale and I think it was a great deal. This backpack perfectly fits my 15.4 inch 2009 Sony Vaio laptop, a 500 page textbook, 5 notebooks, safety glasses, calculator, and has lots of pockets and organizational space for pens and pencils with extra room to spare. The color is beautiful, and the white is more like a cream, which I love even more. Another great thing about the color that I didn't consider is how easy it is to see inside the backpack because light shines through it, so no more digging in the dark for me. Definitely a pack that will set me apart from the crowd, and it's even better that it's carry on compliant!
