Rated4out of5byDejotafromSo far so goodSo far so good. Really compfortable right off the bat too. Was a little worried with the reviews, but the only negative I still have yet to conquor is durability and longevity. Only time will tell on them.

Rated4out of5byWeebsfromGreat bootJust a great all around lightweight hiker. They are so comfortable out of the box...hard to believe. I occasionally run in them on the trails. My only complaint is the lacing system that does not allow for great terminal tension in the laces. I have skinny ankles and feet and find myself at the limit of the lacing tension due to the design. As it turns out, the boots fit perfect as is, but if the leather stretches as the boots age, I will be unable to tension them any further. I would def recommend though. The soles are top notch!

Rated4out of5byAciesfromLove these boots!I previously had a pair of low-top chameleon 2's, and they were amazing. They held strong for 6 or 7 years until the tread starting coming off the bottom. Other than that, the waterproofing is still there. My Chameleon 4's seem to be following right in line with dependability and durability. I just returned from lake Tahoe and they kept my feet warm and dry in 3 feet of snow. Merrell has come through again.

Rated5out of5byalwayspsychedfromAbsolutely My Favorite BootI wear these fine boots during multi-day backpacking trips, day hikes and because they are so lightwweight and supportive, I find myself using them for my trail runs. They have stood up well to very rocky terrain, deep snow hikes and long distances during every season. With these comfortable boots and my gaitors, the only thoughts about my feet/footing during an adventure are pleasant.

Rated2out of5bygraylandfromStill a problemI have a long time experience with Merrell and seem to make the mistake of coming back hoping changes have been made.
1. They are comfortable and fit well
2. They do not maintain waterproofing. I have been thru several pairs over several years and all have had severe waterproof problems.
3. Each pair has worn through the sole on the heel within 3 months. Just not acceptable.
4. I really prefer the Keen as they are VERY comforable and have never leaked....but are very slippery.
