Comments about Mountain Hardwear Lodown Down Jacket - Women's:
I love this jacket. I work on a farm and wear it to work all the time. It is easy to clean, I just throw it in the wash. I pretty much wear it all the time and never want to take it off. I originally bought it to work as a liner in my snowboard jacket but have just ended up only wearing this. When I am in a colder climate I would probably wear both. I do wish that the jacket was a bit longer, but oh well.

Comments about Mountain Hardwear Lodown Down Jacket - Women's:
i admit...i had my doubts when i opened the package. the jacket was really thin, and i didn't see how it was going to be warmer than my 550 down jacket from [another major maker of similar gear]. in fact, i thought it was a mistake that this was being advertised as a 650 down jacket since my other jacket was way heavier/thicker. however, once i put it on and wore it outside the first time, all doubts quickly disappeared...and every wear after that has served to confirm that this jacket IS all it's cracked up to be. it's super warm and cozy, AND the fit is perfect (i'm 5'8" 130 and the small couldn't be better). it wears well with whatever i have on, be it a chunky sweater, long sleeve tee, or regular-weight hoodie. i really wanted it in black, but the dark purple color is a nice change. i love the fleecy cuffs at the sleeves and it's also a great thing to have in the collar area. besides the fact that i really wish it had a detachable hood and was specifically made to be waterproof (which is where the 1 missing star in this review comes from), i can't say anything constructive/negative about this item. i thought the brand of the other coat that i used to wear was THE expert on cold weather outerwear, but this coat blows them out of the water. if you think you might like it for yourself and are debating, you should go ahead and buy it, because there's a high probability that you will LOVE it!

Comments about Mountain Hardwear Lodown Down Jacket - Women's:
I have always loved the quality of Mountain Hardwear products. This is my second MH parka and I love it. It is superior to my other parka because I'm tall and this version is slightly longer so it offers greater coverage from waist to hip but is still a jacket. The material is durable, lightweight and warm. And I love the added fleece features around the neck and cuffs. Great parka for layering. Makes winter much more comfortable.

Comments about Mountain Hardwear Lodown Down Jacket - Women's:
I love this jacket just to throw on when I leave the house in the winter, never gets to hot, and always keeps me warm. Great to throw on when I head up to ski, and, for me (I tend to get cold easy) I can use it under my shell in anything under 25F, and I will stay warm, even on our long, slow, lift. The fuzz around the neck and wrists is so soft I am never irritated. Great pockets too :)

Comments about Mountain Hardwear Lodown Down Jacket - Women's:
I love this jacket! I've gotten a ton of compliments on it. It's so warm during the cold weather (Wisconsin). I am in and out of houses and offices during the day at work. If I'm not staying long I can keep the jacket on and I don't get too warm. When I'm out and about for outdoor activities it's a great layer and keeps me not too warm and not too cold. If I want it water proof, then I put a shell over it. I'm all about the layers. It's slightly tappered in the waist so it's not too puffy and flattering. Totally worth the money. Love all Mountain Hardware!

Comments about Mountain Hardwear Lodown Down Jacket - Women's:
This coat is SO comfortable and warm. I love the fleece around the collar and the cuffs. Just the right amount of down to make it warm but not bulky. I also like that it doesn't have a hood. The maroon color is very nice too.

Comments about Mountain Hardwear Lodown Down Jacket - Women's:
This jacket is super lightweight and so soft. I love the way it looks, not too bulky, but it keeps me warm. The only con is the fabric. My husband has the man version, and it got a small hole in it while walking the dog. I worry if I hike in the woods I may damage the jacket. Other than that, it is wonderful. I love Mountain Hardwear!

Comments about Mountain Hardwear Lodown Down Jacket - Women's:
This is a great warm jacket for around town. It is not the best jacket because it will not keep out all the elements as it does not have velcro to secure cuffs. It has an inside pocket which is nice! It is surprisingly light and yet quite warm with 650 fill. I don't even feel that I have it on! The collar is a bit too big around for me.

Purchased for my 13 year old daughter. She loves the fit and style and it keeps her very warm. Simple, but ideal.
