      After suffering sore sit bones after a 80 mile ride I set out on a quest for a new saddle. After extensive research I decided that I didn't want a big squashy gel saddle and Fizik's system of choosing your saddle based on your spinal flexibility intrigued me. I ordered 2 saddles from Fizik, this one and the Vesta. I prefer the fit and feel of the Arione since the Vesta has a strange lift at the back of the saddle. This saddle is lightweight, relatively flat, and lightly padded. My first ride on this saddle was 64 miles, and while my sit bones were a little sore, it was nothing like the discomfort from my old saddle. I think this will be comfortable once I've spent more time riding. If you're looking for a squishy saddle this is not for you, but if you're looking for a high quality road bike saddle that has padding where you need it and none where you don't this might be the saddle for you.
