Rated5out of5bybelamdkayakfromDoes the trickI was looking for something to use when I go car camping and have more room for gear. This is perfect. The larger size is appreciated and the greater thickness makes for more comfort.

Rated5out of5byiPARDONVARDEfromSIMPLY OUTSTANDING!Know your mission. If you are a pack light and cut your losses kind of guy (which I am) than this may not be the sleep pad for you. However, if you know that you will be setting up a base camp and not traveling far to get there than it would be an invaluable piece of your camping inventory. Because it is bulky, heavy and cumbersome it's packablility is compromised. However what it lacks in packability it more than makes up for in comfort and warmth. This sleeping pad will be the quintessential piece to my winter camping aventures, where an increase in weight can be augmented by use of my Pulk Sled.
It is obvious that this pad was manufactured using the highest manufacturing standards and durable materials. I was able to inflate it once over Memorial Day weekend on a canoe in camp trip and used it for four nights without ever having to blow more air into it. In spite of the cold (35 degree) weather of the norther Minnesotan Woods, I found some of the best nights of sleep on this pad. I am confident that I will be able to abuse this sleeping pad rather than baby it the way I would a more expensive one and it would simply ask for more punishment. It rates extremely high in my cost vs. performance model making it an extremely hard deal to pass up!

Rated5out of5bycarpediemkathfromso comfy!Love this mattress! It's super plush and comfy and my hips never bottom out even when I'm lying on my side. It's wide enough so that when I'm lying on my back my elbows don't fall off the mat. The fabric is a bit rough so my sleeping bag stays put without slithering off in the middle of the night. It's easy to clean by wiping it off, and I like the neutral color. The push-pull valve makes it easy to finish inflating (only a few puffs needed) without all the oral gymnastics. It's warm even on a frozen ground. It is bulky, but since it's intended for car camping, a few extra inches and pounds don't matter much. Mine came with a stuff sack and two straps to hold it all in place. Just a minor nitpick: it would be nice to have a carry handle welded onto the mattress because my hands are too small to grasp the mattress and carry when it's inflated. Also the stuff sack would benefit from a carry handle and a grap strap at the end. But these don't detract from the quality of the mattress. This is a comfortable, reasonably priced camping mattress.

Rated4out of5byDavidluquinfromConfortable campingThis is a great camping mat, its a little hart to pack and just to heavy to back pack with (3 lbs gets really heavy after 3 hours of hiking) after reading the comment above I would just advise to reade the instructions on how to properly inflate the mat

Rated5out of5byCampHikeRunfromLove this camp bedI own two of these myself and have bought one for both of my sisters. We love them! The camp beds inflate on their own, but I always blow extra air in to it to make it firm and comfortable enough for me. I have camped with it in 20 degree weather and it helped keep me warm. I have slept on it for eight nights consecutively with very little discomfort. Granted its not like sleeping on a bed, but it is designed for camping and is very comfortable considering.

Rated2out of5bymomoffashionistafromNot as expectedPurchased two to use during my child's school field trip with indoor sleepover to sleep on the concrete floor (I was a chaperon). The pad did not inflate to 2.5" - it was more like 1" and even my 50 pound child didn't get any comfort from the pad.
