Nite Ize SpotLit LED Carabiner Lightis rated4.375out of5by8.
Rated4out of5byfromCritical gear for my brindle muttI have kept one of these permanently on my dog's collar for a couple years. They're inexpensive enough that I own a couple to swap for when the batteries need swapped out - I agree with the previous review regarding short battery life. My dog is brindle and utterly invisible at night - this makes her easy to spot and in flash mode quite visible to cars when leash walking at night. People constantly ask me where to get one! Would be five stars except for short battery life and requiring two hands to turn on and off; wish it was just a bit easier, although it never switches accidentally.

Rated4out of5byfromClip on your pets collar & be seen! This Nite Ize light clips on my dogs collar easily. Provides great, easy to spot light-at night and any weather condition. Good battery life-easy to change Flashing mode is very effective. My only criticism...the light is difficult to turn on and off. Lubricating the inside back cover doesn't help. Forget trying to press the switch (1/8") with gloves on. Fix this issue for five stars.

Rated4out of5byfromNice light for in the woodsI bought this light to hang on my hammock when hammock camping. If you've ever gone out into the woods to find a good set of trees to hang from, you'll understand that sometimes you have to stray pretty far from the campfire. This light works pretty well as a beacon at night. It has a always-on mode and a strobe mode. It seems a touch bulky for what it is, but I imagine it's pretty durable.

Rated5out of5byfromGood option for night time walksI use it for night time dog park visits. It gets dark so early that knowing where my dog is when it's dark helps make the walk more enjoyable

Rated5out of5byfromLove it for safety!I have one of these little white lights on my keychain to carry when I'm walking anywhere at night, even just across a parking lot. It gives me the security that drivers and cyclists will see me and not run into me. I wish all pedestrians had them! The reviewer who mentioned it falling off of his dog's collar and turning itself off will be pleased to know that both of those problems seem to have been corrected. The little carabiner is very secure, and it actually takes quite a bit of strength to squeeze the light on and off. I usually use both hands, in fact (having rather tiny hands). I worried at first that it would add bulk to my keychain, but that hasn't bothered me at all. I love it!

Rated5out of5byfromGreat personal safety llghtingThese make you visible in the dark on the playa. If you clip one to the back your hydration pack, and wear one around your neck in front, you'll be visible from all angles. This will save you from getting run over by a giant preying mantis or a huge rolling boombox or a 3 story steam powered victorian house or a dragon or something.

Rated4out of5byfromWorks wellI have a Siberian Husky that gets walked or ran at night and at twilight. Automobile drivers often cannot see you until it is too late unless you have a blinking light (same is also true for bicycles). Also, if your dog is loose, finding it without a light attached to it can very difficult. (Especially if the dog is more enthusiastic running than coming, as true with virtually all Siberians and most other Northern breeds.) When blinking, this light is very robust. It is not bothered by rain; however, it would not survive a long immersion. Negatives: The clasp should be a little wider to better accommodate fastening it to a standard dog collar. Also, if you leave it on the dog when he may lay down, he may roll on it, turn it on, and drain the battery. It takes a fair amount pressure, so an accidental touch is unlikely to turn it on or off.

Rated4out of5byfromNice AccessoryContrary to the other review, I haven't had any issues with the light falling off at all, and I have these on two Boxers and one Mastiff. So far, these lights have been better than any other safety light system I've purchased for my dogs. These take a CR2016 battery, and it doesn't last all too long. To save money on the battery replacement, I would recommend purchasing in bulk online where you can get them for around $1.00 ea. or less. Otherwise, you're looking at about $3.00 ea.
