The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about CamelBak Classic Hydration Pack - 70 fl. oz.:
I use this pack on long runs in the 20-30 mile range and during race day too. I too was a bit nervous that it would bounce around too much, but it has worked like a champ. Even on the very uneven terrain on the trails in the Texas Hill Country, this pack has held up extremely well.
I bought this pack in the summer of 2011 and still use it as my go to pack on my running adventures. On race day it's easy to get help refilling the pack and the wide opening makes for a quick re-fill of ice and liquid (common camelbak trait). Only time it's ever leaked was when I didn't tighten the cap all the way.
I've only filled it with a sports drink 1 time and it didn't take to long to clean out.
I sometimes wear this without a shirt and it'll chafe my lower back a bit if I don't put vaseline on there. I've also started throwing a few gels behind the bladder in the main compartment and that's worked well too. It really only has a pocket for a couple of gels or keys/ID. The bungee cord across the lower half has worked well to hold a tshirt or a hat. One time I even took the bladder out completely and just used it to carry gels, bars, and a couple of sandwiches.

Comments about CamelBak Classic Hydration Pack - 70 fl. oz.:
I got it for long distance motorcycling so I don't have to stop to get a sip of water. I like this particular one because of it's small size but it still has more than enough water to last me all day in the saddle. And it doesn't go so far down my back that it bumps into the stuff I have strapped on to the back seat. The tube has just enough rigidity that I can slide it up under my full face helmet to get a sip easily.

Comments about CamelBak Classic Hydration Pack - 70 fl. oz.:
CamelBak doesn't market this as a running hydration pack, so I was a little reluctant that this would work for me. I was concerned that it would bounce around when I ran, or otherwise feel to constrictive. But I was adding distance during my training for a half marathon and knew I needed to carry water. After a lot of research, I decided to go with this one.
I am extremely pleased with this pack. I haven't filled it up (70 oz), but with 40 oz in it, it only adds about 3.5 pounds. I am 5'10", 155lbs, so I have to cinch it down quite a bit, but it fits comfortably and hardly moves. A tip from a friend to prevent sloshing was to put water in the bag, turn it upside down, and use the straw to suck out the air. Works great!
I liked using it so much that I actually wore it during my half marathon. I was able to pass all the water stations and keep my pace going, and have water whenever I felt I needed it. The only slight drawback is I would sometimes hit the hanging straw with my swinging arm. Really not a big deal, though.
The quality of this pack is fantastic, and I'm very picky. I highly recommend this to runners.
