Rated5out of5byRadRikfromCouldn't be happier!I found these on sale while shopping for some running shorts before a registered race. I liked the style and they happened to be my size. After consulting REI personnel about the features, I decided I couldn't live without them. Ran 4.2 mi the morning after I bought these, and I LOVE 'em! I haven't worn another running shoe in the past month. The construction is excellent. The speed laces tuck away into the tongue. They always feel perfect, and they are light-weight. I have a friend with an old pair of Solomans, still going strong after years of use. I hope that these last as long.

Rated4out of5bySUP WGNfromExcellent shoeI have fairly wide feet but this shoe is still fairly roomy and requires tight lacing. No need to go up 1/2 a size for width considerations.

However, I warn you to be prepared to catch people checking out your shoes!

Rated4out of5byHangeronefromThis pair seems bigger than othersThis is my third pair of Salomans and I took advantage of the 2012 close out. I'm an 11 and the other two pairs I have purchased have fit very well; however, this pair feels a little on the larger side. I have to really pull the boa system to create a snug fit, my heel slightly pulls out if I do not. This leaves a lot of the lacing system to wrap. I'm not sure I can take these back or find a smaller size, being that it was a close out so I think I'm stuck with them. Overall Saloman always makes a good shoe in my opinion; this one though, a little on the big side :-\
