Comments about Merrell Pace Glove Cross-Training Shoes - Women's:
Travel for work, so the light weight packs well. Use for long runs ups to 13 miles as well as shorter distances.Tried running without socks, but ended up with blisters. I now wear toe socks and love the fit and barefoot feel.

Comments about Merrell Pace Glove Cross-Training Shoes - Women's:
Very comfortable shoe for everyday use. The minimalist sole takes some getting used to for running, but I love the feel. I found myself between sizes and went with a size up, got a 9 when the 8.5 felt snug. Problem is, now that I have broken them in, they feel big. They are incredibly lightweight and flexible.

General use-walking, shopping, around the house. Just can't wear heavy socks with the shoes.

My wife uses this particular shoe for an everyday shoe. She is a beautiful mother of two. I'm sure many can relate to the fact that having two todlers keeps you on your feet. She loves the shoe, it's light weight, and grips the ground. Perfect for corralling youngsters.

Comments about Merrell Pace Glove Cross-Training Shoes - Women's:
These shoes should come with a warning label for two reasons. One, you will run your fastest times with these shoes on, right from the box they are ready for the outdoors. Two, prepare for insanely sore calves the day after your first long run in them. On my second run with them, I wore them outdoors (frigid Wi), with simple socks and my feet weren't wet or cold. A bonus for sure. I was running 30 sec faster per mile than usual for me (about 8:45 per mile). Around mile 5, my calves were tightening up, bad. By the time I got home I could barely walk normal. TWO weeks later, my calves finally loosened up. Sheesh....they make you use muscles different than your normal running shoes would. Be ready for that. Overall, I am pleased although I didn't like the color choices.

Comments about Merrell Pace Glove Cross-Training Shoes - Women's:
I decided to make the switch to minimalist running, and for the most part I'm happy with these shoes. They are light, comfortable, and have room for my toes to spread. They definitely aren't for outdoor running in the winter, but they do happily survive a trip through the washing machine--something not as easily done with my old running shoes.
My one major complaint is the laces. Perhaps the lace material is extra slick, but even double-knotting them they come undone on longer runs. I end up having to tuck the ends into the shoe, but I may experiment with buying different laces.

Comments about Merrell Pace Glove Cross-Training Shoes - Women's:
I love the lightweight aspect of this shoe. It enables me to be agile and quick while following off-trail through forested underbrush and/or over rocky, craggy terrain behind my search and rescue dog. Some may want more support for heavier loads, but I like and am used to less support, so find I can carry 35-40 lbs. while wearing this shoe. It is super comfortable and agile with good traction! I love it and will buy more even if it wears out quickly, which I do not know yet. The comfort and ease of this lightweight shoe is worth the reinvestment.

Comments about Merrell Pace Glove Cross-Training Shoes - Women's:
I was looking for a good cross-training shoe to wear to the gym. I do a lot of group exercise classes, weight training, and running on the treadmill. I've tried all different brands and styles of footwear. This shoe has saved me! It's stable, lightweight, and so very comfortable. It really is the perfect shoe for me!
