Comments about prAna Stretch Zion Pants - Men's 32" Inseam:
I usually wear about a size 31 waist in pants. Bought these in a size small, still had a little room around the waist, but the built in belt was enough to hold them up. Love the pants, can't stop wearing them. I've only had a chance to take them out on one backpack trip so far, but they performed excellently. I would totally buy these again.

I bought this pants for my boyfriend and he absolutely loves them. They are super comfortable, stretchy, and can be folded up to make them shorter on a hot day. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

These pants feel great on your body. Do wish they came in more then 2 colors. I bought both colors and love how they fit and stretch when you are hiking and moving. Stitching is very good and the waist band is excellent. Would buy another pair if they had a different color.

Comments about prAna Stretch Zion Pants - Men's 32" Inseam:
These pants are awesome. I wear them all the time when I climb. The stretchy material doesn't limit any mobility at all. They are also breathable so they don't ever feel too warm, but windproof so that when its a little chilly, you don't freeze. I have noticed a few thread catches here and there, but nothing scissors couldn't repair, the pants are definitely not falling apart anytime soon. And they roll up with button snaps to make knickers! Who could ask for more! Probably the only problem with them is that every once in a while, my keychain gets caught on the netting in the pockets, but if you can live with that, I promise they will be the nest climbing pants you will ever own.

Comments about prAna Stretch Zion Pants - Men's 32" Inseam:
I recently started climbing/bouldering and wanted a good pant that allowed for the range of motion needed for that kind of thing without being baggy, that was lightweight but sturdy, breathable and comfortable that would also double as good travel/hiking pants in most climes.
These pants certainly give you your money's worth. Not only do they fit my above requirements, but they also look nice enough for casual wear or at the office. Just be mindful of the crotch vents if you're using them in a casual/work setting.

Comments about prAna Stretch Zion Pants - Men's 32" Inseam:
I have had 3 pairs of these pants for about a 18 months. I absolutely love them. They are so comfortable and they look great. I wear them for hiking, traveling, casual occasions, and even to work (on casual dress days). These are definitely my go to pants. My only suggestion to improving them would be to have a button or velcro closure on one of back pockets. Other than that, I don't have any suggestions for how to improve these pants. I love that they have a bit of stretch to them and how soft the fabric - soft but durable. The pants are also treated something to make them stain resistent. I have spilled coffee on my pants several times and it just beads up and I am able to wipe it off with no hint of a stain. Sizing: I am 6 ft 1 inches tall and I weigh 168 lbs. I wear a waist size small and length 34 inches. I wish REI would carry the 34 inch length. Since they don't, I have purchased these pants in the 34 inch length from other retailers. Note, REI, please carry these pants in the longer length.

I bought these pants after looking at several comparable options. After trying all of them on, the Zions fit the best and were truest to size. I had hiked a full 2 days in rugged ascents and descents in the North Georgia mountains in cold weather. I paired these with a light, full-length base layer and felt extremely comfortable without over heating. These pants should really be great in early spring hikes without the baselayer. The fabric is awesome and stretchy, there are a multitude of strategically placed pockets, and the waist has a cinch strap to either tighten or loosen. These are without a doubt some of the most comfortable hiking pants you could own!!!

Comments about prAna Stretch Zion Pants - Men's 32" Inseam:
First off, lets recognize the brand of these pants, PRANA. Which means the best uses for these pants are most likely yoga or climbing. The snaps on the legs are so climbers can shorten the length so they dont catch when heel hookin or making a nasty dyno to the next move.
To the reviewers who say they dont like the fit or arent made for hiking/backpacking etc, well they didnt have the novice camper in mind when they made these pants. They are made for ppl who are very active and slim fitting to meet their needs in yoga or climbing.
These pants were made for ppl who can wear these to work(business casual w/ a polo), and then go out to the crag afterward without having to haul extra clothing for no reason. The material is superlight and super comfortable. The air holes in the crotch are a great idea, its not for air to come through, its for your crotch to breath b/c any climber knows how rancid it gets down there if there are no holes to breath.
They are perfect for traveling, looking good enough for a night on the town and just right for climbing in the same location.
If you are an avid climber these will now be your new favorite pair of pants. Super comfortable and fit like a dream.
im 6'2 189 and a medium 34L fit like a glove.
to anyone else who doesnt understand why they made these pants a certain way just doesnt get it and probably had no idea what they were buying anyway and weren't made for you to begin with.

These are my new favorite pants! Just watch the sizing.
I have had a couple pairs of these pants but the fit was never acceptable, but after playing around with a couple different sizes they fit like a glove. I don't know what it is about Prana's size charts, but they are all off. I am 5'11, 175#, measure 32" waist, 38-39" hip and a 31" inseam. The small regular fit great without being tight anywhere. I noticed that when I bumped up to the medium (ended up returning because they were too baggy and long) the inseam increased – despite what REI states is a 32" inseam, it's not. I highly recommend trying these on before ordering if at all possible. The color Khaki is a little lighter in color than portrayed on the website. THEY DO NOT SHRINK – they are nylon and spandex!
The material is great, water resistant thanks to a scotch guard coating (I imagine this will wear off over time) and very stretchy. Only one pocket on the leg with two zippers to one compartment (one on top/ one on the side) which is perfect for accessing the pocket while sitting down. These may not be the best hot weather pants – I wore them in Malaysia with 90% humidity and 90degree F temps and my undercarriage was sweating like crazy. There are three little holes (like you would find on the top of a ball cap) situated in the crotch area of each leg…they don't do anything at all, but they are there.
The best thing about these pants is the comfort, and the fact that they are socially acceptable to wear in public. I've had several compliments on them from people at work and while traveling. They can pack down pretty small – rolled up they are about 3.5" Diameter x 8" or so – but two pairs can easily be crammed into a 5L stuff sack. They do wrinkle kind of easily – but hang them up in the hotel room over night and the wrinkles release. They are also pretty quick drying when they get saturated, which is a huge plus for those of us who do laundry in the hotel sink.
Bottom line: if you want super stretchy, comfortable, good looking pants – buy these now.

I thought these were going to be the perfect pants... sadly they were not.I'm not a fan of buying pants that come in S,M,L,XL,XXL sizing instead of actual numbers but that's what we have here. I wear a size 36 in almost every pant I have tried (including my ExOfficio Nomads) so according to the prAna sizing chart I bought an XL initially. They were ridiculously too tight for me in pretty much every area (waist and thighs). Will have to return those but went and bought an XXL knowing that they may wind up too big since you can't really fine-tune the sizes like you can with numeric sizes. They showed up and are just a tad too big in the waist. The length however is way too long. I'm 6'1" and bought the 32" inseam because that's what I typically wear. They drag on the ground when wearing normal shoes but would probably be OK with my boots.I might have went back and tried a 30" inseam XXL but after wearing them around the house, another, bigger problem became noticeable. The inside of the waist on the pants has a lovely felt-like material that is fairly common among hiking pants to make them more comfortable with the hip belts on packs. That part was good but prAna chose to use some hemp-like stitching material on the waist. It was very scratchy/itchy/rough in a few areas, particularly where the stitching terminated around the button. This was not going to quickly become annoying on a 500 mile hike. Why didn't they just use some more normal thread? Probably an effort to be eco-conscious?Anyways, these are, unfortunately, going back (again).I'm going to just buy another pair of ExOfficio Nomads from [@] (since REI isn't stocking them). The Nomads in a 36/32 fit perfectly for me and, although they don't have the nice felt lining on the waist, they also don't have the itchy hemp stitching either.Kinda bummed because I really wanted to like these pants. They look better than the ExOfficios, they're stretchy and easy to move in, they're light, they have good pockets, they roll up, etc. All those are great but I can't get past that dang itchy stitching.
