The REI Member Dividend

I've worn the Patagonia active hipster briefs for several years, but always hated how long they take to hang dry when traveling. These barely hipster briefs are a much lighter weight and dry much faster. The fit is good too, so what's not to love.

I picked these up at REI to test them for myself after reading reviews here, and they are super comfortable and dry quickly. These are now officially the most comfortable underwear I own. I went out for a long walk today and they didn't bunch, move, grab, or shift at all and I stayed dry and comfortable. My only con is that these ones are very high-waisted (bordering on granny panties) so they rise above most of my pants. I'll definitely buy more pairs, just the bikini ones instead.

These are by far the best underwear I have ever owned! Super comfortable - I completely forget that I am wearing them, which is saying a lot after 5 miles of running in humidity or a step class! They have never ridden up or moved in any way, yet they never feel too snug. The fabric has a cute little design and dries very quickly, so they are perfect for hiking trips as well. I have two pairs now, but I wish I had a pair for every day of the week. You will not be disappointed!!!

My husband and i have been hiking for years and i always wore Cotton Briefs. I decided to give these a try as i was tired of wet undies from sweating all day. I only bought two pairs to try while hiking in Tahoe over Labor Day Weekend. I figured they were a little spendy but could be worth it and THEY WERE!!! We hiked on 4 different days. I had only bought 2 pair and washed them to wear the 2nd 2 days. They dried so fast!!! Also never had any butt wedgies, they stay in place!! I will be purchasing more!!!

Used these on a backpacking trip, and they were perfect. Comfortable, didn't ride, and they dried overnight after washing and using a camp towel to remove excess water. I love that they're a lower rise than other brands and that visible lines under clothes are minimal. These are very cute but still have full coverage where it matters. Unlike my other travel underwear, I actually wear these all the time. I like the thinner fabric of these better than the active hipster, it makes these more breathable and quick-drying.
