The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.
Rated2out of5byNateDerenskifromExpected Better from PatagoniaI ordered 8 of these for an internship I run, and within 3-5 months of light to medium use every one has began to pill like crazy! I couldn't have gotten the same quality for less than half the price. I LOVE patagonia products and normally they set the standard in quality. But unfortunately, the better sweater misses the mark. I really wish these would have held up better, but next time I'll be going with another brand for sure! The look awesome and fit great but the material is junk, don't buy this fleece- you can get the same quality much cheaper!

Rated5out of5byKraemer1fromCould Live in ItContinues to work extremely well as a casual and warm layer underneath a heavy jacket for harsh winters. Fits easily beneath outer layer and nice enough to wear over business clothing to/from work.
Has proved surprisingly wind-proof on camping trips.

Rated2out of5byThomas BfromLooks nice; wears very poorlyI have had this fleece sweater for 3 weeks. It was exactly the style and weight I was looking for. I washed it once after purchase, handwash/gentle, cold water, tumble dry no heat. Came out just fine. But, after wearing with a white oxford shirt, I noticed that the interior shed copious amounts of fine lint. Carrying a bookbag on my shoulder walking 15 mins to work has begun to wear a spot where the bag rubs on the sweater near the waistline. It is piling badly and the fleece is wearing thin after only 3 weeks of light, casual use. This is unacceptable. The fleece is very flawed and I imagine Patagonia will not be making this sweater for very much longer. I'm going to try and get a refund.

Rated5out of5byStrand DavidfromJust right between dress and casualJust right weight for cool days and perfect style to be casual but attractive enough to look good in most situations. Pockets are zippered but do not scrape hands and none of the zippers catch cloth or stick! Very comfortable.

Rated5out of5bySeemore MilesfromLove itThis is my new "go to" fleece. Size small is a perfect fit for me (5' 11" 160 lbs). Very soft and comfortable on the inside. The outside is a knit pattern which I like because pet hair doesn't stick to it as much. Warm on its own unless its really windy, then I put a shell over it and its perfect. Layers very well. Not sure its the best "rough wear" jacket but it'll do fine for day hikes, camping or general wear. A bit pricey but I feel that it will last a long time and I like supporting Patagonia for their business transparency and excellent repair/return policy.

Rated5out of5byMudskipper098fromNice jacket!I needed a new fleece and my sister got this for me for Christmas. She did an excellent job! This jacket looks great and is warm. It's not bulky like my old North Face Denali. The zipper does get stuck a little on occasion but has never come off track. It's not very windproof but doesn't claim to be either. Overall, great jacket!

Rated5out of5byCraig and JessicafromGreat Sweater/JacketThis is a great, warm sweater jacket. The only con my husband did not like is the bottom is a bit wide for him and there is not an adjustable band, nor an elastic band on the bottom.

Rated4out of5byUncle CheechfromIt's my 'go to jacket'This has become my everyday jacket. I live in So CAL (Huntington Beach) so it's not like it gets terribly cold. I wear this fleece jacket generally in the mornings on the way to work or when taking the kids to the park. I don't expect this piece to be super warm or wind proof…causes it's not. Think of it more as lightweight casual jacket. If I want a performance fleece for backpacking or running in cold weather I'll use my other Patagonia fleece jacket (R3/ high loft fleece).
So if you're looking for a lightweight casual fleece jacket, this guy will work perfect. The fit could be better…because this jacket is kind of stretchy it works ok for me. I'm 5'10" tall and weigh ~174lbs…avg height. I'm not skinny nor am I really overweight…just a bit stocky. I wear a medium for most of my Patagonia gear. Ideally I'd have a bit more room in the chest/ shoulder area. Patagonia says this is more of a normal 'fit' jacket, vs my other R3/ HighLoft fleece which is more of a tailored fit.
Overall, I'm happy with my purchase. I have the black and it looks nice enough to wear in a professional office environments. I'll wear it w/ slacks and dress shirt all the time…or also with shorts and flip flops.
Patagonia, like REI has awesome customer service and 100% satisfaction guarantee… you can't beat it.
