    The REI Member Dividend

The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.

Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.

Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Rated5out of5byfromProbably Mountain House's Best BreakfastThough a bit unhealthy, this product will give you a lot of energy very quickly if you want a quick boost in the morning before climbing a mountain. I've found that preparing it with less water (about 3/4 - 4/5 of what they recommend)yields far better results.

    Rated5out of5byfromPerfect backpacking breakfastI'd give it a 9 out of 10.

Rated5out of5byfromI enjoyed itSecond favorite freeze-dried meal, behind the Mountain House Beef Stroganoff. Mountain House is definitely my "go to" brand. They have never disappointed me, and I'm sure they're not going to start any time soon. I'm a little surprieds that there isn't a "Pro-Pak" choice, although it really doesn't take up much room in my technical pack.

Rated4out of5byfromTasty breakfastReally good breakfast dish. We didn't use it with wraps, we simply ate it out of the package. Much better than some of the competition.

Rated3out of5byfromNot bad, not great, could be improvedWhile this works okay with a tortilla and some hot sauce, its own texture is disappointing. The flavor doesn't have any major vices. It was generally mushy with a modest flavor. While we shorted the water some on the recipe (and adjusted cook time for altitude while using an insulated wrap) the mixture was still too wet when cooked. Perhaps larger/heartier/crispier chunks for some key components would address that? As a morning meal this works as long as one has hot sauce and wraps (as we did.) I wouldn't recommend it without. I would probably give it a 3.5 out of 5 if I could. I would recommend it to a friend with the reservations noted. We will most likely use it again.

Rated3out of5byfromReasonable BreakfastReasonable breakfast, eggs come out better than much. Bring some hot sauce, always makes it better. Quite a few calories, one of the girls thought it was too much food.

Rated5out of5byfromBest dehydrated meal so far! This was a great breakfast! Very tasty. Wrapped it in a flour tortilla and added hot sauce. Will definitely get this for my next trip!

Rated5out of5byfromFillingFirst shot at freeze dried food and it's not bad. I am a total breakfast guy, so I love eggs. My family said it smelled bad, but I liked it. The only bad thing is the blandness of it. Just like every other person, you need something (even just salt). I can normally eat a lot of food, and there is no way it's just for one person. I filled two flour tortillas with it and still had a little less than half of it left. If you like breakfast food, you'll like this.
