The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

FP-55 gave me a whole lot of problems with my presta vales with it not holding air while on the valve and felt like I was going to bend or break the my valves every time I used it. Just very poor quality save your self the time and buy the lezyne.

Rated3out of5bykoma28fromGood pump, terrible head.Bought this when I was out for a ride and my portable pump failed. REI was only a mile away so I walked over and bought this one. Looked at smaller pumps but none really looked worthwhile and a newer second floor pump for home seemed like a good idea.
The pump itself has a large readable gauge for us aging cyclists. Five stars for the main pump unit. ONE star for the UNUSABLE head they supply. It's difficult to get it on a P-valve properly and sometimes almost impossible to remove. No schrader valves so it never was tried on those. For those banging/scraping fingers taking a tight pump head off the valve, put your hand AROUND the tire and push with your thumb to pop the hose head off.
I also sometimes saw the gauge jump/drop, possibly not giving accurate readings. Fortunately for me, I had an extra Avenir Universal Head Bicycle Replacement Floor Pump Hose that I intended to use with a handle and my air compressor. I easily removed the stock hose/head and installed the Avenir in its place. I knew this replacement was a good choice from having upgraded another (schrader head) floor pump I bought a few years ago and it has worked well since. After this replacement on the FP-55 I had no problems with sticking heads, AND the easy read air gauge no longer was unstable when attached.
For those of you looking for the Avenir hose, it is the one with a single hole that is usable with either schrader/presta, NOT the one with dual holes that looks like the one that comes on this pump.
I would ONLY recommend this pump to those comfortable replacing the hose head.

Rated2out of5byEQueezyfromGood for 1+ yr, then too expensive tofixPros: pump worked well and looks great after a year + of use. The pump then completely stopped working and Serfas has a "lifetime" warranty. The trick is you need to ship the pump back to AZ and the size and weight make this an expensive venture (almost the price of a new pump).
Do yourself a favor and spend an extra $15 and get the Specialized Air Tool. Its way better.

Rated5out of5bygrahammcpfromGreat pump for the money! This is a great, simple, bike pump. If you're going to own ONE pump, this is the one to own...you can use it on both tire pump sizes.

Rated4out of5byJmanfromEasy to Use!This pump is really adaptable and easy to use. The attached gauge is a nice feature. Seems to be pretty good quality, but I've only owned it for a few weeks.

Rated3out of5byalexhowardfromMore than adequateA solid product at a good price. My only complaint is that its a little tough to remove from a Presta valve. You really have to pull on it and I often end up banging my hand against the axle. Still, I'm happy with it.

Rated2out of5byAndrew AtchleyfromMeh...This is the second one of these pumps I've owned, because the first one broke after about 8 uses. If I had more money to spend on a pump, I'd buy a Joe Blow. The mechanism that attaches to the stem of the tube is tough to remove from the stem sometimes, actually ripping the stem off the tube in one instance. Not recommended.
