So I bought 2 of them, one was a gift and the other one was for my husband and myself.
Both have been great purchases, they are resistance and easy to carry when travel.
I ususally take them inside the bag when I travel in case I buy more things than what I can carry in my bag. It is easy to travel and it doesn't need a lot of space.

I work on fishing boats and a duffel bag is essential. I've tried a few other bags, mainly from army surplus stores. They were supposed to be indestructible. They were not.
I've been using this bag for 4 years now, and it is still going strong. One zipper handle has broke off, but the other one is fine. If the other one broke off, I would just add replacements. I also use the "case" it comes with. It's perfect for holding the little things I need (pens, pencils, charging cables, calculator, ear plugs, batteries, etc...).
Once this bag does wear out, which could be a long time looking at the shape my bag is in, I will buy another one immediately.

We took a 3 month trip all over Europe, unpacking and re-packing every 1, 2, or 3 days... Then to Africa and used these bags to climb Kilimanjaro where they were, again, used and abused plenty and showed absolutely no wear and tear. Then 2 weeks in Asia and brought them home in perfect shape (minus some dirt from being checked on the airplane). Zippers help up perfectly and bags were pretty waterproof too.

I have used this duffel numerous times on vacation. I bring it along unused, then stuff it full on the way back after we've picked up too many souveniers on the trip. It holds up extremely well as checked airline luggage. It's been on several international trips and still looks brand new. I plan on getting the next larger size to protect my backpack when I check it to fly to Arizona for a camping trip.

This bag is K.I.S.S. - Keep It Simple, Stupid. Durable nylon, comfy handles. Stuffed 33 pounds of supplies in this for an orphanage in Guatemala; packed out my dirty clothes, carpentry tools, and souvenirs in it.
The little case/organizer that comes with it is super handy for stashing stuff you want to be able to find quickly, and makes this bag super small for storage.

I have used this duffel for travel and field work in Indonesia for two seasons. It gets kicked, thrown, and overstuffed on a regular basis. No tears yet... that's saying a lot considering how often I fly with it as checked baggage.
The little metal pull thing for one of the zippers comes off occasionally. I could fix it easily with pliers but I keep forgetting about it. The zippers never stick.
I am planning to buy a couple more for the big move to Indo in January. We'll see how it handles a straight year of abuse.
