The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

I use this mat 3 to 4 times a week for yoga. It is definitely better (less slippery) than my last cheapo mat but my hands still slip when they're sweaty. I've never thought of myself as being sweatier than others but maybe I am? I might look into a mat towel/cover thing but wish that wasn't necessary.

This is my 2nd Jade mat, I upgraded to a thicker mat, just for the comfort. I wasnt disappointed. what an amazing mat. I love that I dont slide on these mats. Jade makes comfortable, sturdy mats, that allow you to feel grounded and solid in all balancing poses, as well.
My mats see alot of use with up to 18 classes a week, so I am grateful for something that can stand up to all of my play.

This is the second mat I've purchased and I LOVE IT. I bought one in red for myself and a purple one for my mother. We have both noticed a dramatic difference in the amount of cushion it provides in comparison to other yoga mats. I would definitely recommend this to people whose knees and wrists need more padding during yoga.I use my mat about 3 times a week for classes offered at my gym. It's great for both yoga and pilate. The thickness of the mat offers cushion for all positions, and I have not experienced any slipping. Since this mat offers so much traction, it gets some hair and dirt stuck on it, but it's nothing you cannot get rid of with some water. I've had it for 3+ months now and have no regrets in spending [$] a piece on these mats. Important thing to note is that the mat is biodegradable, so I bring it inside with me during hot summer days to keep it from breaking down. It's also a good idea to get a strap for the mat as it is much easier to carry around. (Check Lululemon for some sturdy and brightly colored straps!)

This mat is very sticky, so it attracts every piece of lint or dirt it comes in contact with which has driven me crazy. Maybe it will get better, as it loses some of it's stickiness? But it also gets slick if doing a class where you sweat- I've gone back to my old mat.

I upgraded from a thinner PVC mat and this mat is like paradise in comparison! Nice and thick with great grip, the mat provides the comfort and traction you need when doing floor workouts like yoga, situps, pilates, etc. I do find that when I get really sweaty that my feet slip a bit. And the mat is a lot heavier than my old mat, but not unmanageable. I use my yoga mat 3-5 days a week and I can see this mat lasting me a long time! Love it!
The natural rubber smell dissipated in the first few days of use.
