Comments about Alps Mountaineering Lightweight Air Sleeping Pad - Regular - Special Buy:
Great pad for a great price. Thick pad, but rolls up to the same size as a much thinner pad. Fabric is great and doesn't slip. Super comfortable and perfect size. Love it!

Comments about Alps Mountaineering Lightweight Air Sleeping Pad - Regular - Special Buy:
I bought this for my daughter for summer backpacking and general camping and am very pleased. This is perfect for easier trips when you can carry heavier and be more comfortable. I spent two nights on it and realized how much better I sleeped compared to my Prolite 3. This pad is thick and comfy but still rolls up to a respectable size and it comes with a stuff sack and repair kit. Hint, hint Therma Rest - the consumer likes that.

Comments about Alps Mountaineering Lightweight Air Sleeping Pad - Regular - Special Buy:
We are car campers but we have a smaller car and travel with two adults, two kids and a medium sized dog. So, we can take some of the creature comforts of home but we need to be able to pack them into a small space.
We bought these pads for everyone but the dog replacing larger blow up mattresses. We then left for a weeklong trip. It was a hot week so I don't know how they would do in the cold. They did really well on this trip and we did not miss the big old mattresses. You do need to blow them up a bit by mouth to get them really firm but even with that they are ready to go in less than 5 minutes. Rolling them up is also a breeze. The only problem was getting the dog to sleep on her own bed.

Comments about Alps Mountaineering Lightweight Air Sleeping Pad - Regular - Special Buy:
A great pad at a great price compared to others. However, it is slippery. If you camp on any sort of grade you're bag will likely slide off and you'll be waking up to pull the kids bag uphill and worming your way back up as well. Wish the top surface was less slick.
